Comedian and television producer Rose O’Donnell recently shared a video discussing the upcoming presidential election as November quickly approaches.  While appearing visibly concerned, O’Donnell stated that she is actively having conversations with her therapist about the election, where many signs indicate that Trump will win.

The liberal comedian expressed deep concern about the implications of a Trump victory, illustrating that “by Thanksgiving break,” it would be apparent whether the United States would “still have democracy” or not.  Following the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, many have criticized the left for promoting hysterical rhetoric that Trump is an existential threat to the country.

O’Donnell said, “The whole thing is very, very unnerving. It’s very unnerving. In 100 days, you know, people are saying to me, my therapist actually said to me, Well, it’s a long time between now and November. No, it is. We’re about to start school again. You know how quick all of a sudden it’s thanks, it’s Halloween, and then it’s Thanksgiving break. So by Thanksgiving break, we’re going to know whether we still have democracy in the United States. That’s not a long time. It’s a long time to worry every day.”

“I can tell you that I’m excited about the Olympics starting. That gets me excited, so I’ll be cheering for that. And that’s all I got today, people, nothing big. Take care of yourselves. Tiktok, you don’t stop. Don’t only watch the TV news. Don’t… It’s listen. You can worry, worry, worry, and it’s time still going to go and what’s going to happen is going to happen,” she continued.

The producer offered more advice on “wisdom” that she and her fellow leftists can employ.  “So you know the wisdom to know the difference, the things I can control, right, things you can’t wisdom to know the difference. It’s all in that wisdom to know the difference right? Drive yourself crazy. You can drive yourself completely bonkers, believe me, I know,” she said.

O’Donnell doubled down on her language that paints Trump as a radical threat to the nation, suggesting he would lead to an “authoritarian dictatorship.”  She concluded, “But boy, it’s scary. Boy, is it scary? They’re not kidding around.  Right to an authoritarian dictatorship. America got no idea. what’s coming. If he wins, and boy, it’s not good. Okay. Anyway, happy, happy. Talk to you soon.”

The popular conservative X account “End Wokeness” shared the footage on social media with the caption, “Rosie O’Donnell, on the verge of tears: The therapist isn’t helping me to cope with the election. Our democracy could die before Thanksgiving.” The clip has since racked up millions of views.  Watch O’Donell’s monologue below:

Unfortunately for Rosie O’Donnell, more uncertainty was introduced to Democrats just hours after End Wokeness shared the footage on X.  On Sunday afternoon, President Biden officially announced that he would be stepping down from the presidential race while officially endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris to represent the party in November.
