WATCH: RINO Betrays Trump, Goes on CNN to Stab Him in the Back

In the latest instance of a supposed Republican showing his true colors to attack President Trump, former National Security Advisor and noted neoconservative warmonger John Bolton went berserk and accused the president of letting his ambitions for the Nobel Peace Prize guide his political ambitions.

Such is what Bolton alleged in a ridiculous appearance on Wednesday, June 25, on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” with known Trump-hater Anderson Cooper. Bolton appeared to be responding to the president’s comments on Truth Social about how he has struck peace deals between Rwanda and the Congo, Israel and Iran, and Pakistan and India, and so deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

Beginning, host Anderson Cooper pointed to the leaked DIA intelligence report that claimed minimal damage had been done to the Iranian nuclear plants, saying, “[Y]ou know, this DIA intelligence early assessment was leaked. Whether it’s accurate or not, it’s certainly a lot of caveats apply. It is early. There’s going to be other assessments.”

Continuing, Cooper used that to indicate that Trump might have been mistaken in ending the attacks there, which is just what a warmonger like Bolton would want him to say. He said, “If what the general tone of it is accurate that this not — the damage was not as widespread as obliterated, as the president said, what should the U.S. do? Would you see a world where there’s more strikes?”

Bolton took the bait and used the question to go on the warpath against the Trump Administration for seeking peace instead of further war. He said, “Yes, I don’t know anybody who listened to the president or the secretary of defense and the vice president and the language they used who thought it could even remotely be a justifiable at this point. It might be at some point.”

Continuing, Bolton attacked Trump for wanting a peace prize and for trying to strike a peace deal instead of further putting American lives at risk by engaging in further attacks on the Iranians. He snapped, on that point, “It might be that the analysis is closer to this leak DIA report, which I hate commenting on because I haven’t seen it. I don’t have any basis on which to judge it or comment on it. I think what we’re seeing here is a president driven by not U.S. national security interests, but his fascination with getting a Nobel Peace Prize.”

Further, Bolton bizarrely attacked Trump for thinking the mission went so well and then using that as an opportunity for peace. He said, “And he thought he had a mission that went flawlessly, the mission itself. I don’t think anybody can find any defects in that, at least that I’m aware of. And he jumped on it and said, ‘This is great.’”

Still not done attacking President Trump for seeking peace instead of a larger war, Bolton then declared, “Then he tried to get the ceasefire, which he created and pulled through and got upset on when it looked like that was about to fall through to muddy up his victory. This is his story to get the Nobel Peace Prize. And he doesn’t want to hear any contradiction.”

And outright demanding an expanded war and all the costs and casualties that would bring, Bolton, who never served in combat, declared that a ceasefire was a mistake, snapping, “I think it was a mistake to call a halt to the bombing. Certainly might want to pause to get the assessment. How much damage did we do? How much more do we need to do? And I think it was a mistake to go for a ceasefire.”

Concluding, Bolton further declared that there should have been an expanded war in the skies over Iran, telling Cooper, “If you want to destroy the Iranian nuclear weapons program, which I think is the right objective, it’s going to take some time. And by the way, we essentially, we and the Israelis, appear to have all the time we need because Iran’s air defenses, its capability to interfere with aerial bombardment have essentially been eliminated. There was no rush here.”
