In a fiery interaction with NBC News correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, Whitehouse Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt brought the receipts to demolish the woke reporter. Questioned about Trump’s decision to condemn the racially motivated crimes against South African farmers, Leavitt brought the heat on the lying reporter and left her speechless.
For context, the President has made several remarks about the situation in South Africa, such as when he slammed the nation for its race-based appropriation laws, which would allow the government to seize land and other property without compensation.
In any case, Alcindor began her disingenuous question by attempting to ensnare Leavitt with lies. She started the May 22, 2025, incident by asking, “The president showed a video that he said showed more than 1000 burial sites of white South Africans, and he said they were murdered.”
Continuing her lies, the NBC correspondent said, “We know that that was not true and that the video wasn’t showing that. So I wonder, why did the President choose [to say] the video was showing a burial site?”
Firing back at the unprincipled reporter the SPOX declared, “No, …it is true that that video showed the crosses that represent what the President claimed. The video showed images of crosses in South Africa about white farmers who have been killed and politically persecuted because of the color of their skin, and those crosses are representing their lives,” adding, Those crosses are representing their lives and the fact that they are now dead and their government did nothing about it.”
Still not done trying to twist the situation, the reporter interjected, “Are you disputing that? There’s no
video that shows what the President claimed it showed because it did not show that. But even more, what I’m asking you is who would show that the white cross represents people who have perished because of racial persecution?”
Continuing her baseless claims, the Reporter continued, “What protocols are in place when there’s unsubstantiated information being put out for the world and world leaders?” Annoyed, Leavitt fired back with an epic response.

Demolishing the biased journalist, she said, “What’s unsubstantiated about the video? The video shows crosses that represent the dead bodies of people who were racially persecuted by their government. In fact, the Associated Press, of all places, has a picture of that very monument in the caption from the Associated Press is each cross marks a white farmer who has been killed in a farm murder.”

Concluding her epic demolition, Karoline Leavitt pulled apart the baseless lie, saying, “So it is substantiated, not just by that video and the physical evidence that everybody saw on display in the Oval Office, but also by another outlet in this from the Associated Press. So you should take it up with them if you believe the claim is unsubstantiated, and that’s a ridiculous line of questioning.”
