WATCH: Woke Mayor Goes Absolutely Ballistic in Panicked Freakout after Getting Roasted by Republican Ads

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is facing a surprisingly intense and serious primary threat from challenger Spencer Pratt this election cycle, with Pratt focusing on the wildfires that destroyed much of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood and using the general anger of Los Angelenos about the disastrous mismanagement of their city against the mayor.

As part of that well-executed and high-energy campaign, he has been releasing very funny ads that feature the use of artificial intelligence to generate entertaining scenes that call out the mayor for her terrible policies and their even worse effects. Such is about what Mayor Bass freaked out during an appearance on CNN.

In fact, she insisted that an ad featured angry Los Angelenos throwing tomatoes at her and other much-detested city officials was encouraging violence against elected officials, saying, “But what’s worrying me now is, is that his social media is now taking on a violent turn.”

Continuing, she clutched her pearls and claimed that it is Pratt who is endangering the safety of officials, ignoring that so much political violence that has occurred as of late has been committed by leftists, not rightists, and certainly not conservatives who are annoyed about high property taxes and ineffective government.

Yet it was the point that she pushed anyway, however absurd it was. She said, making the jaw dropper of a claim, “And that worries me, because when you do that, and when your messages are so hateful, or when you demonize people, then you do provoke people who are unstable, and you can jeopardize people’s safety.”

She was asked, “You mean like the throwing of the tomatoes?” and responded, “Well, the throwing of the tomatoes, which look like blood, or drowning me and the governor in the reservoir. But there’s also other violent scenes, and so I’ve noticed that that it’s taking on a violent trend.”

Whatever Mayor Bass and her CNN propagandists think of them, the ads, and Pratt’s general campaign strategy, appear to be generally working. While Democrats have long had an iron grip on Los Angeles, Pratt has done so well that new polling shows he could be within striking distance of her.

Fox News Digital, posting about that momentous news on X, said, “Spencer Pratt is suddenly within single digits of L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, with new polling showing the former reality TV star and independent candidate gaining 12 points since March.”

It added, noting the results and what Pratt is doing to try to get ahead of the incumbent who is also part of the political machine, “The Emerson poll has Bass at 30%, Pratt at 22%, and socialist-linked Nithya Raman at 19% Pratt’s campaign is leaning hard into L.A.’s homelessness crisis, using sharp social media and attention-grabbing ads to turn a long-shot bid into a race people are now watching.”

So, while Pratt still has a good ways to go to make up that difference and pull ahead, he is at least within striking distance of her and has a chance of pulling a victory out of his hat, if he continues to campaign well and focus on those popular issues.
