In a contentious interaction with the press, a member of the security entourage walking closely with Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was recorded appearing to intimidate a Fox News journalist who asked her a simple question about recent remarks attacking Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk.
For context, Crockett has a long history of making threats of violence and other unprofessional outbursts. Crockett, who joined Congress in 2023, has made enemies with Attorney General Pam Bondi, who claimed that she may have violated the law with her threats.
Initially, Rep. Jasmine Crockett faced harsh criticism for her radical remarks about Elon Musk during a nationwide call for “Tesla Takedown,” which far-left ideologies described as a “peaceful protest platform” urging Tesla owners to sell their vehicles and stocks. While at the event, Crockett’s statement that she wanted Musk “taken down” was interpreted as a direct threat of violence.
In any case, the interaction began when the intrepid journalist tried to reach Crocket for a question. The woke Democrat, who aides and security personnel flanked, did not answer the question. An aide walked uncomfortably close to the reporter, who asked, “Why are you in my face?” to which he responded, “I’m not.”
Trying to clear up the situation, the reporter clarified, “[I’m] just asking her a question, she’s an elected member of Congress.” The aide responded, “Talk,” while staring him in the face. Finally answering his question, he asked, “Congresswoman, do you see any connection to you saying you want to take down Musk to the violence that’s going on in the streets?” Crockett walked away without answering.
Making her initial comments, Crockett said, “On March 29, it’s my birthday. All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE Oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”
Backtracking slightly, the woke Democrat clarified that she meant her comment in a “nonviolent” way, and she was just figuratively “fighting” for democracy. Adding to that, Rep. Crockett said, “We know that we are peaceful, loving people, and this is not about violence.”

However, Attorney General Bondi wasn’t having it. During an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on her show “Sunday Morning Futures”, Trump’s AG said, “Maria, now you have this congresswoman Crockett — who is calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday?! Let’s take him out on my birthday, she said?!”
Watch the bizarre interaction here:
She explained that “And yet she turns and says ‘Oh, I’m not calling for violence.’ Well, she is an elected public official, and so she needs to tread very carefully! Because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country. And, it’s basic safety. Once again, domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country.”
