In an absolutely ridiculous moment that came Monday, February 24 on ABC’s “The View,” far-left Minnesotan Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) declared that voters are starting to have a “building” sense of remorse over their having elected President Donald Trump, a ridiculous assertion given Trump’s mid-50s approval rating.
Klobuchar’s comments on the matter came when the subject was broached by “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin, who asked her if voters are shifting in their view on the president as his administration ramps up. She asked, “What do you make of this shift in the electorate? Are voters having remorse, voters remorse already?”
For reference, a recent survey conducted by Harvard CAPS and Harris found that a whopping 33 percent of the American electorate strongly approve of the president’s job performance so far, and another 19 percent of the same group somewhat approve. Meanwhile, only 43 percent disapprove, meaning Trump is nine points “above water” on his approval rating.
Klobuchar didn’t admit that. Instead, she claimed that Americans are so upset by high egg prices, a result of Biden’s ridiculous policy of killing chickens, that they no longer support him. She said, “I think so, and it’s going to keep building given what he’s doing, but chaos is up, corruption is up, and costs are up. Like you said, ask anyone in the egg aisle.”
She then complained about Trump’s tax cuts, beginning her lengthy and tiresome tirade on that issue by saying that Musk and Trump are looking for money to cut to fund tax cuts and that voters disagree with that. She said, “Part of this is you’ve got to look at what’s going on. He and Elon Musk, they’re looking for money everywhere.”
Continuing, Klobuchar blamed rising costs on those tax cuts, though she failed to show how the two issues are connected at all. She said, “Costs are going up for you while they’re giving the tax cuts to their rich friends and they’re looking for money to do that. It’s really important we make that case to people because as you noted, they always talk about other people, but you are the other people.”
She then said that Americans would prefer the government paying for “child care costs” to using the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to cut waste while also pardoning the J6 prisoners. She said, “Instead of, you know, helping you with child care costs and making that more affordable, they decided to go out and help the people that committed violent crimes in the United States Capitol and gave them pardons.”

She then complained about Trump’s comments regarding buying Greenland, a mineral-rich territory that could be critical as the Arctic opens up, and insisted that the government should push down house prices. She said, “Instead of doing something to make your getting a house more affordable for your kids, they decided to go out and try to buy Greenland when it’s not even for sale.”
Concluding, she ranted about the idea that federal employees might be fired by Musk and Trump, snapping, “Those are the cases we have to make, and if any worker right now is feeling their probationary period in the United States government, it is Elon Musk. That’s the guy.” Watch her here:
