WATCH: Woke Congresswoman Throws Raging Hissy Fit Over Major ICE Success, Has Major Meltdown in Congress

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) went on a tirade against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Trump administration due to the large amount of success they’re having in enforcing U.S. immigration law, attempting to paint a narrative that all of the actions being taken by both amount to terrorizing the American people and communities across the country. It should be noted that the vast majority of voters in the country are thrilled by the mass deportation of criminal illegals from their neighborhoods.

Video captured during a congressional hearing that is currently going viral shows Jayapal delivering a lengthy monologue stuffed with all the reasons for her hatred toward ICE and seeing the current administration actually do its job to enforce the law. She opened her rant by chastising President Donald Trump and his team for doubling the size of ICE and not working on healthcare or housing costs.

“Under Donald Trump, ICE has doubled in size. Instead of funding Americans’ healthcare or housing or child care, Republicans poured over $210 billion into ICE and CBP,” Jayapal said. The Washington Democrat switched gears and brought up the shooting deaths of Rene Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE agents. Conveniently, facts pertaining to their assaults on officers just prior to their deaths are left out.

“DHS officers killed two US citizens in cold blood in Minnesota. Have we had a hearing on that? No, we haven’t. They beat and detained countless US citizens for exercising First Amendment rights, and broke down doors without a warrant in violation of the Fourth Amendment,” she continued. Jayapal then took an opportunity to slam the president and ICE for “imprisoning” 400,000 individuals inside the country, claiming that many of those people are parents, children, military veterans, and U.S. citizens.

“ICE has imprisoned 400,000 people just in the interior of this country since Trump came in: parents, children, military veterans, US citizens, people on valid visas, and people who have never committed a single crime, the private prison companies who incarcerate these people get massive profits,” the congresswoman told those in attendance.

She then claimed these same folks were taking the money they were making from incarcerating illegal aliens and donating to GOP candidates running for office, while also ignoring alleged horrible conditions in the various facilities where these individuals are being detained. It should be noted that border czar Tom Homan paid an unscheduled visit to one such detention center and found conditions to be more than adequate.

“They turn around and then contribute to Republicans and Trump’s campaigns, while maintaining the most horrific conditions inside the prisons that have led to a record 51 deaths in ICE detention just since President Trump took office, so what does all this do for Americans?  It hurts them, their communities get torn apart, their kids lose friends, their businesses suffer from lack of workers, and guess what, Americans actually lose jobs due to harsh immigration enforcement,” the Washington Democrat ranted.

“The Brookings Institution looked at increased ICE enforcement in 86 metro areas in red and blue states, and found that up to 297,000 American-born workers have lost their jobs as a result of ICE’s increased enforcement. That all needs to stop,” she concluded. It’s worth mentioning that, according to a report from The New York Post, Jayapal once said that illegal migrants who defy ICE are “inspiring,” which to many voters is the same thing as celebrating lawlessness and criminal activity.
