WATCH: Woke Actor Alec Baldwin Freaks Out, Floats Crazy Conspiracy Theories after Trump Takes Action to Tackle Crime in DC

In an absolutely bizarre video posted to his official TikTok account, far-left actor Alec Baldwin, known mainly for his Trump Derangement Syndrome and having accidentally shot a woman on set during filming a Western movie, went berserk and insisted that Trump could try to take over the NFL and NBL in addition to various cities.

For reference, Baldwin’s bizarre post comes in the context of President Trump’s administration having temporarily taken over the DC police department and sent in National Guard troopers to crack down on the highly elevated levels of crime in the city, crime rates that make the nation’s capital one of the most dangerous cities in America.

In the video, Baldwin began by freaking out over the idea that the military and federal agents could be used to crack down on massive crime problems and sanctuary policies in other cities, snapping, “What’s gonna happen next? Is Trump gonna federalize the New York City Police Department? What’s after that? Chicago, L.A., Miami, Boston, and on and on?”

Ignored in that hysteric, berserk claim is that the DC police department could be federalized because DC is a federal jurisdiction, rather than an independent and sovereign state. In any case, Baldwin continued by suggesting that Trump could take over sport leagues next, saying, “What’s after that? The NFL? The NBA? Is he gonna federalize them to take them over?”

Bizarrely, Baldwin, who doesn’t live in DC and in any case is wealthy enough to afford private security, argued that the city shouldn’t be made safe from crime because he doesn’t need it. He said, “All he wants to do is deflect from his inadequacy by the bold, insane moves. The takeover of D.C. police, it’s not what I need. I don’t need this D.C. police to be taken over. I don’t.”

Concluding, he demanded Trump get rid of the tariffs and end the war in Ukraine and Gaza rather than solve the crime problem in DC, ignoring that the tariffs are a key Trump policy and the president is working to end the Russo-Ukraine War. In any case, Baldwin said, “They need to get the tariffs over with. They need to get the war over with. They need to get the Gaza thing over with. And after that, we have something else we have to get over with.”

Trump, for his part, announced the crackdown on crime in DC in a post on Truth Social in which he said, “Washington, D.C. will be LIBERATED today! Crime, Savagery, Filth, and Scum will DISAPPEAR. I will, MAKE OUR CAPITAL GREAT AGAIN! The days of ruthlessly killing, or hurting, innocent people, are OVER! I quickly fixed the Border (ZERO ILLEGALS in last 3 months!), D.C. is next!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT”

In the wake of the move, even CNN Senior Legal Analyst Elie Honig admitted that DC is dangerous and a resource surge might help fix it. He said, “I’ve worked extensively with police, and I don’t have a problem, tactically, with what Donald Trump is doing here. [It] doesn’t have to be the most dangerous place on earth. Something can be improving, but still really bad. If your house is on fire and then a third of the fire goes out, it’s less bad, but it could still be an emergency. I work in D.C. It is dangerous there. You cannot deny that.”

He continued, “And a common police tactic is to surge resources. I’ve been part — we call them task forces. They’re applauded across the board, across the political board. I’ve done it in New Jersey. I’ve done it in New York. You take the FBI, you team them up with the Newark PD, what have you, you make a visible presence. Now, is some of it for appearance and show? Yes. Because what it does is A. It assures people. It gives people a bit of confidence and security. And B. It deters people from committing crimes. So, it’s not going to hurt. And this is a situation that needs to be improved.”
