As if trying to prove that there are even more insane people than those who are trying to tear up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool coating so that algae grows again, far-left co-host of ABC’s “The View” Whoopi Goldberg had a berserk meltdown in which she demanded that President Donald J Trump face jail time over his move to clean up the Reflecting Pool.
Beginning by trying to downplay Trump’s claim that vandals are attacking the pool, Whoopi Goldberg ignored that numerous leftists have been caught doing it and framed it as a conspiracy theory, saying, “He is claiming that vandals are to blame. He says they illegally placed chemicals in the water and left a 300-foot gash in the pool.”
She then framed the arrest as five of them as being out of the blue, and noted that the president has called for them to face stiff prison sentences, saying, “Now, five people are said to have been arrested. He says a ten-year prison sentence will be strictly enforced.”
Adding to that, she declared that Trump is the one who should go to jail and that there is “no proof” that anyone vandalized the pool, which is the opposite of true. She said, “Well, if he says he’s going to jail for 10 years, I’m going to let him go. It seems to me, that had he not messed with the pool, it would still be a reflecting pool instead of a liquid jungle, which is what it looks like. But to accuse five people of doing this, but seemingly there’s no proof.”
Still not done, Whoopi then added that Trump should be sued for cleaning up the reflecting pool, saying, “I want somebody to sue because if a contractor did this at your house, this is what you would do. I think the country needs to say we’re suing you, suing you for doing this without our permission and we’re suing the people who did it because clearly they didn’t know what they were doing. Clearly. But, you know, it’s just a suggestion because, you know, a lot of money is going away.”

President Trump, commenting on the arrests, said, “Six people have been arrested, and seven people have been cited, for the damage they did to our Country’s now beautiful Reflecting Pool. The 350 foot gash, made by a very sharp knife or razors, is actually numerous slashes over a very long 350 foot length.”
He continued, “It was purposefully and criminally done, and somebody had to work very hard, probably in the dark of night, to create such a condition. Likewise, the small area at the bottom of the Pool was cut and powerfully lifted off the surface leaving very jagged, uneven edges. The large areas of grass are being replaced. In any event, even prior to fixing those areas, the Reflecting Pool is as beautiful as it can be. We will drain some of the water, either immediately before or after the Fourth of July, to do the permanent repair. President DONALD J. TRUMP”
