In the wake of President Donald Trump accusing former President Barack Obama of “treason” regarding the “treasonous conspiracy” that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard exposed regarding the Russia Hoax, Vice President JD Vance predicted “a lot of indictments” are coming and will target the members of the Deep State involved.
For reference, DNI Gabbard said, when releasing documents exposing the conspiracy, “The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic. Over a hundred documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected.”
She added, noting that the situation was severe enough to warrant being called a coup, “So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic, and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”
President Trump, speaking about the scandal and Obama’s role in it, said that the former president committed treason when he got involved in pushing Russiagate along, saying, “Look, he’s guilty. It’s not a question. You know, I like to say, ‘Let’s give it time. It’s there. He’s guilty.’ They — this was treason, this was every word you can think of.”
So, when he joined Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo on her “Sunday Morning Futures” program on August 10, Vice President Vance demanded that those involved be held legally accountable and indicated that indictments are on the way. He said, “I absolutely want to see indictments, Maria. Look, of course, you’ve got to have the law follow the facts here. You don’t just indict people to indict people. You indict people because they broke the law.”
Continuing, he insisted that DNI Gabbard and the FBI have released more than enough information to justify indicting Obama and others, saying, “But if you look at what Tulsi and Kash Patel have revealed in the last couple of weeks, I don’t know how anybody can look at that and say that there wasn’t aggressive violations of the law.”
Adding to that, Vice President Vance said that those involved deserve to be indicted because they broke the law, and that the American people need to be concerned with what they were up to. He said, “I absolutely think they broke the law. You’re gonna see a lot of people get indicted for that. Here’s the thing that should really bother the American people.”

Continuing, he went scorched Earth on the “intelligence” community, saying, “What do you want our intelligence community to be doing? I want them to be catching bad guys. I want to be making sure that terrorists aren’t gonna kill innocent American civilians. I don’t want them laundering Hillary Clinton’s campaign talking points into the American media and giving them this air of legitimacy. It is sick and it’s disgusting.”
