New reports have emerged revealing that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), which has candidates taking New York City politics by storm, is set to roll out an update to its platform and the vision the organization has for the future of the United States will terrify anyone who holds the Constitution and the values enshrined within it near and dear to their heart.
The DSA is planning to push this new agenda through the candidates it is running in political races across the country. One of the updates includes a dedication to eradicating the U.S. Senate and replacing both the president and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary selected by members of Congress. And, of course, amnesty for all illegal aliens. The last part of the new platform is defunding the Department of War.
The DSA’s current policy platform includes calls for an “immediate end to all deportations,” free migration between countries without any form of restrictive immigration controls, and “extending full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens.” The DSA, long considered to be a far-left fringe movement within the Democratic Party, has been gaining a lot of attention in the public eye in recent times.
According to a report from Fox News, several members belonging to the DSA have managed to boot out incumbent Democrats and well-established individuals belonging to the party’s establishment wing. As a result, many political experts have started to speculate that the group is the future of the Democratic Party, which, if true, could mean the end of the American way of life as we know it.
The DSA has given its endorsement to a number of influential Democrats working in government, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who is an actual member of the organization. Mamdani, who originally hails from Uganda, defeated former Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the bid for the mayoral seat in 2025.
Ever since his big win, the DSA has been gaining a lot of traction with people. The group is now backing candidates like Melat Kiros of Colorado and Darializa Avila-Chevalier of New York, both of whom beat out sitting Democratic members of Congress in 2026. The organization has been working hard to present itself as the “working-class alternative to the Democratic Party.” Following their candidates’ victories, the DSA claimed that “only socialism can solve decades of capitalist mismanagement in the U.S.”
The organization then said that “our newly elected leaders will fight for the working class — not for crumbs.” The current platform for the DSA also calls for establishing a 32-hour work week “with no reduction in pay or benefits,” passing a bill that would provide Medicare for everyone, canceling student loan debt, the elimination of cash bail, and universal rent control.

The program it released for 2025-2026 makes the call for a “new democratic constitution” that it claims would help establish civil, political, and democratic rights for all based on proportional representation in a “single federal legislature.” In other words, they want to consolidate all of the lawmaking powers in one body politic instead of three equal branches.
