Tucker Demolishes “Blustery Coward” Chris Christie

Tucker Carlson demolished GOP 2024 contender Chris Christie after Christie went on the warpath against him in an ABC interview, attacking Tucker for his stance on the Russo-Ukraine War and his questioning candidates about the issue during a recent series of interviews, particularly Nikki Halley and Mike Pence, who had a terrible answer.

Christie, during his ABC appearance, said that had Tucker asked him about the war and why America is supporting Ukraine to such a great extent, he would have said, “I would have said, you’ve always been wrong about this, Tucker, and you’re still wrong.”

Continuing, Christie insisted that sending seemingly endless amounts of weaponry and financial support to the Ukrainians is important because that’s somehow fighting back against China because the Chinese are buying Russian oil.

Not really connecting the dots but managing to war and fearmonger about China, Christie said, “In fact, what’s going on is this is a proxy war with China. The Chinese are funding the Russian war by buying Russian oil. They’re coordinating with the Iranians to provide lethal weapons to the Russian army, and we can decide when to have this conflict. Right now, the Ukrainians are willing to fight this fight for themselves if they have our support to be able to win it. If the Chinese watch us back away from Ukraine as Tucker Carlson and others would advocate, believe me, the next move will be Taiwan.“

Well, Tucker Carlson wasn’t going to take Christie’s inane insults sitting down. Taking to Twitter to throw a haymaker at Christie, he said, “Sounds like this could use a longer conversation. We just asked @GovChristie
to sit down and explain his views on Ukraine. He refused. You hate to think that Chris Christie is a blustery coward who plays the tough guy with sycophants at ABC but won’t answer real questions, but who knows? We hope he reconsiders.”

The main impetus for Christie’s claims about Tucker and the Russo-Ukraine War was likely Tucker’s questioning of Mike Pence. Pressing Pence on why America should send so many resources to the Ukrainians at a time when its cities are crumbling under the weight of crime, inattention, and a lack of resources, Tucker asked Pence whether his concern is the lives of Americans or the number of tanks sent tot the Ukrainians.

He asked: “I’m sorry, Mr. Vice President. You are distressed that the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks? Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There’s not one city that’s gotten better. And it’s visible. Our economy has degraded, the suicide rate has jumped, public filth, and disorder and crime have exponentionally increased and yet your concern is that the Ukrainians, a country most people can’t find on a map, don’t have enough tanks? I think it’s a fair question to ask: Where’s the concern for the United States in that?”

Pence said, “Tucker, I’ve heard this routine from you before. That’s not my concern.”
