Speaking during CPAC, former President Donald Trump not only vowed to give the RINOs the boot from the party and “totally obliterate the Deep State,” but also to end the end the endless wars that have drained American blood and treasure for no clear purpose.
“We are never going back to a party that wants give unlimited money to fight foreign wars – that are endless wars, that are stupid wars – but at the same time demands that we cut veterans’ benefits and retirement benefits at home.”

That came as part of his attacks on the RINOs, during which he also attacked warmongers like Karl Rove and said “When we started this journey, a journey like there has never been before, there’s never been anything like this, we had a republican party that was ruled by freaks, Neocons, globalists, open borders, zealots and fools, but we are never going back to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove and Jeb Bush.”
Alongside that pledge he vowed to defeat the Deep State and other groups that push for the endless foreign wars, namely the globalists and warmongers, saying:
“With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the war mongers. They are people that don’t get it, although in some cases they get it, they get it for their wallets, but we can’t do that. We can’t let that happen. We will drive out the globalists, we will cast out the communisits. We will throw off the political class that hates our country. They actually hate our country.
“No walls, no borders. Bad elections, no voter ID. We will beat the Democrats. We will route the fake news media, we will expose and appropriately deal with the RINOs. We will evict Joe Biden from the White House and we will liberate America from these villains and scoundrels once and for all.”
This is far from the first time that Trump has pledged to take on the endless wars lobby and end those siphons of American blood and treasure. In a 2020 speech to West Point graduates, for example, Trump vowed to need the endless wars and said it’s not the job of Americans to solve generational conflicts halfway around the world. Reuters, reporting on the speech at the time, said:
Trump’s reported plans to withdraw 9,500 troops from Germany, one of America’s strongest allies, and relocate them to Poland and elsewhere has drawn the ire of German officials and raised concerns in the U.S. Congress about a retreat from the world stage.
In his commencement address to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Trump told more than 1,000 graduating cadets, arrayed in a social-distancing pattern, that the job of the American soldier is not to rebuild foreign nations but “defend, and defend strongly, our nation from foreign enemies.”
“We are ending the era of endless wars,” Trump said. It is not the job of American forces “to solve ancient conflicts in faraway lands that many people have not even heard of,” he said.
