WATCH: Trump Supporters Show Up to Troll Gavin Newsom with Hilarious “Welcome”

In another funny and morale-raising incident for conservatives following the disastrous (for Biden) debate between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, a throng of Trump supporters gathered in Bucks Country, Pennsylvania, to “welcome” Newsom into town with Trump flags waved at him and jeers directed his way.

As background, Governor Newsom’s trip to Pennsylvania comes as he acts as one of the main Democrat bagmen for President Joe Biden, trying to boost him and support him as Americans sound off on Slow Joe in the wake of the debate. Newsom did that immediately after the debate, for example, ridiculously claiming that Joe won on the “substance.” Newsom is also a rumored replacement for Biden, so it makes sense for the party to be putting him in front of cameras.

So, Gov. Newsom was in Pennsylvania rather than California on Saturday, July 6. While there, he was meant to rally local support for President Biden and remind the Doylestown Democrats of their county’s importance in winning the presidential race, as Pennsylvania has become one of the key swing states for Democrats to win to keep out Republicans.

Speaking during the event, Newsom said, to a crowd of only about 200, “We are going to save democracy and bring back Biden and Harris for four more years.” He also said, after the rally, “I don’t turn my back on people that have had the back of the American people, one of our great American comeback stories. And so I really believe in the president, I believe in his character, I believe in his competency, his capacity.”

Further, he refused to answer the question on everyone’s minds, which is whether he will replace Biden if Biden is too far gone and has to be ushered out. Speaking on that matter, he said, “It’s the hypothetical that gets in the way of progress in terms of promoting this candidacy,” he said. “It’s exactly where the other party wants us to be, is having this internal fight, and I think it’s extraordinarily unhelpful.”

It was for Newsom’s arrival for that speech that the Trump-supporting crowd gathered to “welcome” him to town. Conservative vote organizer Scott Pressler posted about the event on X, including a clip of the Trump supporters waving their flags at Newsom. He said, captioning the clip, “BEAUTIFUL: I’m hearing reports that there are MORE Trump supporters waving signs outside of Gavin Newsom’s Bucks County event than democrats. They are trying to California Pennsylvania & voters aren’t having it.”

Posting the same clip, the Citizen Free Press account said, “Trump flash mob shows up in Bucks County to welcome Gavin Newsom.” Replying to Citizen Free Press, a commenter added, “Sounds like Gavin is politicking. He has run California into the ground let’s never give him an opportunity with the rest of the country.” Another joked that whoever is behind Newsom being a party mascot, particularly in California, should be fired, saying, “Any member of the Democrat party who thinks it’s a good idea to send Gavin Newsom on the trail should be fired.”
