WATCH: Trump Shoots Down Reporter’s Attempts to Embarass Him, then Spins Around and Walks Away from the Rude Media

A reporter attempted to get the jump on President Donald Trump during an interview on the tarmac just before he got aboard Air Force One, but, as usual, he stood strong and demonstrated how to handle biased media outlets and their tactics without giving an inch. The reporter challenged the president stating initially that the war in Iran would only take 4-5 weeks. Then, after shutting down the rude reporter’s attempts to embarrass him, Trump turned on his heel and walked away, much as he embarrassed Kristen Welker by just walking away from her on the interview set.

“Well, you keep hitting me. This is a far bigger job that we’re doing. We were doing a little job in stopping them from having a certain capability. Now we’re just ending it,” President Trump told the reporter. He then went on to make it clear that his ultimate goal was to ensure that Iran never got their hands on a nuclear missile.

“So it’s really not the same thing. What we’re doing now is we’re ending any chance where they can have a nuclear missile? If you look at it, after a week and a half-not four weeks, a week and a half, two weeks-we stopped them from probably. But I don’t want to have the word probably. Thank you very much, everyone. Thank you,” the president said.

Then, ending the conversation abruptly after smacking down the reporter’s attempts to embarrass him, President Trump decided to show his frustration with the media. Turning on his heel, he headed toward Marine One and left immediately after shutting the reporter down.

“The press doesn’t seem to interest in preventing the Death To America zealots from having a nuclear bomb,” one user on X said. “AWSOME turn you’re back on them and walk away. They don’t deserve your time,” another commented. Someone else warned that “Iran is going to face Trump’s fury very soon,” noting that the president’s grace and mercy are running thin.

The Iran war wasn’t the only topic that was on the mind of the liberal left-wing media during the encounter. The wildfires raging in Canada, which has led to massive amounts of smoke filtering down into the United States, particularly in Michigan and down through Ohio and beyond, was also brought up. President Trump stated that he confronted Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney today over the situation.

A reporter asked Trump if he had a conversation with Carney, to which the president responded, “I did, yeah, I did. How did that go? Well, it went good, but I I told him, I mean, you got to stop these fires from coming in and you know poisoning our air. Our air has been poisoned. I have a good relationship with Mark Carney, but you know we got to stop the fires up there,” the president explained.

The president then stated that if there’s anything the U.S. can do to assist Canada with the fires, those actionable steps will be taken. “If we can help them, we’ll help them, but maybe they should pay us some damages or something, or we should do some tariffs. But it was terrible. I mean, you had businesses closing, in particular in Michigan,” Trump told the reporter.

“If you look at Detroit, the Detroit, Michigan area, they hadn’t closed everything. They didn’t close car plants and a lot of other things. So, I’ve never remembered this happening over the last four or five years. You saw it starting to take place. I’ve never remembered it happening,” he added. In another viral video clip, President Trump can be seen walking away from reporters who continue to pepper him with questions concerning the Iran war.
