President Donald Trump got an opportunity to showcase his softer side during an event in Nevada, while spending a few moments with a toddler, including one that featured him stepping in to prevent the young boy from wandering off-stage, joking, “I don’t want him to be former President Joe Biden and fall off the stage.”
The interactions occurred after the president invited Sandra and Brad, a couple from Las Vegas, to come on stage at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa with their two children as he spoke about the administration’s Trump Accounts and the “no tax on tips” initiative. Sandra, the child’s mother, started to address the crowd when the toddler looked ready to make a run for it before Trump quickly reached out to stop him from leaving the stage.
“I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off the stage,” Trump wisecracked, getting a round of laughter from the audience attending the event. Later, Sandra spoke with President Trump and said, “He did want to say a little something to you, Mr. President.” Trump responded, “Yes, thank you, thank you very much.” The toddler babbled a bit before the mother prompted him to say, “Thank you for my Trump Account.”
The little boy repeated the phrase into the microphone, Fox News reported. That elicited an enthusiastic round of applause from the audience. “Good job,” the president told the boy with a smile, clapping for the toddler as the audience erupted into cheers. Earlier in the event, the president introduced the family by providing some information concerning their current situation.
Sandra currently works as a waitress at a casino in Sin City, while Brad is an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. President Trump then revealed the couple had benefited from his tax policies and were investing money in Trump Accounts for their children. “It’s a beautiful family,” the president said as they came up on stage.
Trump himself is a father of five children and has a total of 11 grandchildren. Folks commented on a video clip of the incident shared on Facebook, with one person writing, “I know people don’t like Trump because he is white and rich but he is a really nice guy ! love my President.” Another person said, “He moved pretty fast for an eighty-year-old ! Grandpa to the rescue!”
Someone else commented that President Trump is America’s Grandpa. Another user also noted how quickly the president was able to get to the toddler before he took a dive off the stage, saying, “President Trump still quick on his feet for his age!” One individual pointed out, “That’s a grandfather at its best.” Another took an opportunity to rip into Biden.

One user pointed out that President Trump told the young boy to make sure he takes care of his mother. “How do you not love this guy?
