President-elect Donald Trump recently shared a heartwarming video compilation honoring his “beautiful wife Melania.” In the post, which Trump captioned, “Make America Great Again,” the video featured a mashup of heartfelt moments he and Melania shared throughout his presidency, showing the two on the campaign trail, at the White House, and attending various other events.
The clip begins with Trump stating, “It is a great honor to present the next first lady of the United States, my wife, an amazing mother, an incredible woman, Melania Trump.” The popular X account Big Fish shared the clip, writing, “Donald Trump posted a tribute to his beautiful wife Melania on Truth Social.” The video has since racked up tens of thousands of views.
The American Tribune also reported on a critically acclaimed post-election interview Melania gave to Fox News, in which she addressed numerous topics, such as Trump’s iconic dance moves, which have taken over the internet. She also shed some light on the Trump family, discussing preparations to return to the White House and Barron Trump, who is away at college.
Co-host Steve Doocy asked the incoming first lady, “What we have seen since he was elected and over the last couple of months, is that calmness and maybe gratitude, or whatever it is. But something else we’ve seen is he seemed so kind of happy and loose because last night at the Patriot Awards, I think we got a clip … he was doing the Trump dance. And I’m sure, I’m sure you’ve seen that evolve … How do you describe your husband’s dance moves?”
Melania answered, “Oh, this is a very special and unique dance.” She replied, “And I think a lot of people are copying it, and everybody has had fun with it.” Melania was asked if she had ever done the dance herself, “Is this how you dance?” She immediately said, “No.” However, she was questioned once again, “Did you give him any tips?” Jokingly, but also firmly, Melania answered, “No.” “Have you ever done the Trump dance? You are, Mrs. Trump,” Melania was asked yet again, where she asserted, “I did not.”
The first lady also spoke about the preparation to transition back into the White House. “It’s incredible. And we are very, very busy. The life is the pace of it, the transition team. I’m establishing my transition team, and also working on my office, putting my office together, and also, you know, organizing the residence and packing. And it’s incredible what you need to do when in that situation,” Melania told the co-hosts.
Speaking about 18-year-old Barron Trump, who has recently become a sensation in the media, she said, “He is a grown young man. I’m very proud of him about his knowledge, even about politics and giving an advice to his father.” She continued, “He brought in so many young people he knows his generation, because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore. They’re all on the tablets, they’re on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers. He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father. And was incredible how he brought in a success, because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
