Former President Donald Trump had an awesome time grilling and tailgating with the frat boys at Iowa State University, then headed into Jack Trice Stadium for the Saturday Iowa-Iowa State game. The crowd roared with applause when it saw him, with chants of “USA” abounding as security wedged him through the wildly enthusiastic crowd.
Perhaps the most memorable moment of the day’s visit was when the former president and 2024 candidate showed up at the Alpha Gamma Rho agriculture fraternity house. While there he spoke to the young men, tossed footballs lined up on a beer pong table into the crowd, and even did some grilling, flipping burgers for the hungry fans.
Here are some awesome videos of Trump at the frat house:

So Trump had an awesome time with the fraternity men and hanging out with the sort of people who form the backbone of his MAGA movement, whether they be the Iowa fans or the young men who hosted him and his team.
But he wasn’t done there. After flipping burgers and tossing footballs, Trump headed to watch others do the same at Iowa State’s Jack Trice Stadium, where he was met by a massive mob of cheering supporters, with his security team having to wedge him through throngs of supporters. Watch that here:

Once in the stadium, Trump continued mixing it up with the mobs of his fans. waving to massive mob of college football fans and mixing it up with the Iowans, who were clearly excited about their opportunity to see him.

Trump was not the only GOP primary contender to attend the game. Joining him at the stadium were Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, as reported by The Hill.
However, Trump was the man among them who didn’t remain in a cloistered setting or mix it up with only a small crowd. While they piddled around with puny audiences, Trump mixed it up with the massive mobs, as can be seen in the previous videos.
He then headed up to a suite at the stadium to watch the game with one of the major GOP donors, casino kingpin Gary Kirke. Throughout the game, former president Trump also entertained numerous important figures from Iowa or in town for the game who filtered through the suite throughout the game, as the Associated Press reported.
And Trump’s warm reception was generally commensurate with pooling out of the state. The latest polling out of Iowa, one conducted by pollster Civiqs in conjunction with Iowa State, shows that Trump is currently sitting far atop the heap of candidates, holding 51 percent ahead of January’s primary vote. The next closest candidate is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, trails Trump by a whopping 37 percent, having crashed to a painfully low 14 percent support in the state.
The other candidates are so far behind Trump that they are hardly worth mentioning, as their chances of winning are so remote as to strain creduility.
