Former President Donald Trump was recently captured on video meeting a young supporter of his at Temple University ahead of an upcoming rally in Philadelphia.  Footage of the heartwarming interaction shows how special the moment was for the young Trump supporter, who was dressed like Trump.

“Make sure he gets a special sandwich for himself,” Trump exclaims before applauding the boy, dressed in a navy suit and red tie, identical to the former president.  Trump proceeds to pull out a $20 bill and sign it for the young boy, who is visibly emotional with excitement, clearly delighted to meet the presumptive Republican nominee.

“We just added a little value to that,” Trump said, speaking about the autographed currency, while posing for a picture with the boy in a moment he will likely cherish for the rest of his life.  “We love this kid, I like that kid!” the GOP frontrunner further exclaimed.

Conservative commentator Collin Rugg shared the footage to X, writing, “Young Trump supporter who is seen wearing a wig and a suit to look like Trump starts crying while meeting the former president. Trump then pulled out a $20 bill and signed it to give to the kid before taking a photo. The meeting happened in Philadelphia where Trump is set to hold a rally at the Liacouras Center at Temple University.”

Users on X reacted to the heartwarming video, demonstrating Trump unquestionable charisma and ability to interact with supporters.”He cannot contain his excitement! This is something that this young man will remember and talk about for the rest of his life!” one person wrote.

Other noted the undeniable difference between Trump and Biden in their public engagement.  Another person added, “Notice the difference? Trump attends rallies that end with inspiration. More genuine connection in one moment than some politicians manage in an entire career.”  One user commented, “This is what an endearing human interaction looks like. Joe Bidens team should take note. No comparison.”  Watch the interaction between former President Trump and his much younger look-a-like below:

The American Tribune recently reported on other praise former President Trump received for his commitment toward interacting with the public.  During a recent religious roundtable in Detroit, a pastor applauded Trump for visiting the Motor City, pointing out that former President Obama “never came to the hood.”

“President Trump, I’m so humbled that you would be here. President Obama never came to the hood, so to speak, right? President Joe Biden, he went to the big NAACP dinner, but he never came to the hood.  So thank you,” the pastor stated.  Trump replied to a cheering audience, “My honor.”

A black Detroit business owner echoed the praise, “When you were in office, President Trump, the African American community, the Latino community, the Arabic community, we all soared.  The money was pumping when you were in office. As a restaurant operator, I’m telling you that the money was pumping, and the money is not pumping now.”
