In addition to talking about his personnel policies, mocking Chris Wallace, and ripping into Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson, former President Donald Trump also brought his humor back out and did a spot-on, hilarious impersonation of Kamala Harris during his interview with Tucker Carlson. The impersonation was funny enough to get Tucker, who was trying to be a serious interviewer, to burst out laughing.
Introducing the subject, Trump first noted that, though President Slow Joe Biden is known for his gaffes, Kamala has some equally bad moments. Making that point, he said, “She has some bad moments. Her moments are almost as bad as [Biden’s]. I think [Biden’s] are worse.”
Getting his own joke comment in, Tucker added, “She seems pretty senile too.” Trump, continuing with his point, noted that Kamala has a distinctive and odd way of speaking, telling Tucker, “She speaks in rhyme. It’s weird. It’s weird.”
That was enough for Tucker to start laughing. Doing so, he asked, “In rhyme?” And that’s when Trump broke out his Kamala impersonatin, mimicking her near-perfectly and saying (the imitation being bolded), “Well, the way she talks: ‘The bus will go here and then the bus will go there! Because that’s what busses do!‘ It’s weird. The whole thing is weird. This is not a president of the United States’ future.”
Tucker started cracking up as Trump did the imitation, obviously finding Kamala as ridiculous and Trump’s impression of her as funny as the rest of the MAGA base does.
Donald Trump to Tucker on Kamala Harris: “She speaks in rhyme. It's weird… Well, the way she talks: 'The bus will go here and then the bus will go there! Because that's what busses do!'”
So good 🤣🤣🤣

Kamala, for her part, attacked the contenders in the GOP debate, describing them as radicals and extremists. In her statement, she said, “No one on stage ‘won’ tonight’s debate. Instead, the American people heard how much they stand to lose from an extremist agenda.”
Continuing, she attacked the motives and plans of the GOP contenders, saying, “One by one, each extremist Republican candidate laid out a vision for an America that is less fair, less free, and less safe. These candidates want to raise costs for working families in order to benefit special interests and the ultra-wealthy. To gut Social Security and Medicare. To strip fundamental rights and basic freedoms from millions of people.”
She then praised Bidenomics as an economic strategy and set of policies, saying, “And to reverse the Bidenomics strategy that has helped create 13 million jobs, the strongest two years of small business creation in history, and record-low unemployment. These extremists focus on unnecessary debates meant to divide our nation in hopes that the American public will not notice they have no affirmative agenda.”
Ending her statement and continuing with the economic focus, she said, “President Biden and I will continue to grow the economy from the bottom up and the middle out and build a nation in which all people can truly thrive. We are laser-focused on finishing the job we’ve started: to create good jobs, lower costs, fix America’s roads and bridges, create a clean energy economy, protect a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body, keep our children safe from gun violence, and make sure all Americans can dream about their future with ambition and aspiration.”
