Recently, former President Donald Trump was spotted making a public appearance at a state fair in Iowa.  Captured video of the event demonstrates how popular Trump still is with the American people, as he gets swarmed with energetic, cheering supporters trying to get a chance to see him.

In the video, Trump can be seen autographing various items, such as hats and other merchandise, that people pass toward him.  Journalist Eric Spracklen posted a short video of Trump’s appearance with the caption, “Team Trump has entirely taken over the Iowa State Fair Thousands fighting for a glimpse of the greatest President in American history.”   Check it out below.

Recently, Trump has made headlines for a number of appearances where the public shows overwhelming support for the 2024 Republican candidate.  The American Tribune reported earlier this month on a video of the former president crashing a wedding at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club.  Unsurprisingly, Trump was met with loud, passionate “USA” chants from the guests.

The Machine has now thrown all it can at the man.

Yet, Trump is full of life.

Trump has also been known for his surprise stops at local restaurants while on the campaign trail, where he graciously pays for the crowd’s food.  Earlier this summer, Trump stopped at a Dairy Queen in Iowa, where he interacted with an excited crowd filled with “USA” chants and other praises toward the former president.

The energy Trump has in these kinds of public appearances demonstrates that he is not deterred by the ongoing legal battle he faces.  The former president has slammed the federal government, alleging the case against him is corrupt and the product of Biden weaponizing his political power.  However, he has been very vocal about the circumstances and promises not to back down.

In a recent post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump explained that “In 2024, it will be our turn!”  “Look, it’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democrat Party, Crooked Joe Biden, has told his Attorney General to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself. The Dems don’t want to run against me or they would not be doing this unprecedented weaponization of “Justice.” BUT SOON, IN 2024, IT WILL BE OUR TURN. MAGA!” Trump said.

Trump has also stated that he will not comply with a potential protective order from special counsel Jack Smith that could limit the public statements he is permitted to make relating to his case.  “I will talk about it, I will,” he said. “They’re not taking away my First Amendment rights.”

Prominent legal figure Alan Dershowitz has even chimed in on the Trump indictment claiming things are starting to “look like banana republic land.”  “We know that President Biden urged his attorney general to indict the man who he knew was going to be the leading opponent if against him,” Dershowitz alleged. “That begins to look like banana republic land. That’s what happens when people in power are afraid of the democratic process. What they do is they seek the indictment and prosecution of the people who are running against them.”
