Top Trump Administration adviser Stephen Miller, seen by many as the architect of the mass deportation strategy and full-court press on everything having to do with immigration in which the Trump Administration has so far engaged, highlighted the massive benefits to all areas of life that will come from mass deportations.
Those comments from Miller came when he, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, was speaking during an appearance on Fox News about how the massive ICE operations against illegal aliens are going in California and what the expected benefits of those operations are, particularly when it comes to daily life for normal people.
As background, Miller’s comments came in the context of ICE, now expanding rapidly and funded with well over $100 billion, working with Customs and Border Patrol and other federal agents to carry out massive immigration sweeps across California, both on farms employing illegal laborers and in urban areas, like parks full of vagrants and drug dealers. The operations have been huge, and sparked much opposition on the left.
It was against that opposition that Miller railed when speaking on FNC, noting that major cities like Los Angeles will be made massively better by mass deportations. Kicking off with an example of overcrowded infrastructure, he said, “What would LA look like without illegal aliens? You would be able to see a doctor in the ER right away, no wait time, no problem.”
Building on that, he noted that public schools have been similarly overrun by illegal aliens and their family members, and so deportations will open up classrooms and lead to more student attention from teachers. He said, “Your kids would go to a public school that had more money than they know what to do with. Classrooms would be half the size.”
Continuing, he noted that pushing back on the criminal gangs who have taken advantage of the open border so repeatedly and massively will mean turning even notoriously crime-ridden cities like LA into safe and clean places to live that are free of any cartel presence. He said, “There would be no cartels. There would be no Mexican mafia. There would be no drug deaths. You would be living in a city that is safe. You would be living in a city that is clean.”
Adding to that, he noted that a crackdown is well-justified, as these cities have been waging an “insurrection” against the Trump Administration at the same time as cartels are doing their best to weaken and fight America. He said, “California and Los Angeles are waging insurrection against the federal government. Cartels are waging war against America and their allies are the Democrat Party.”

Miller then also reiterated a point made by Tom Homan, which is that the immigration crackdown is saving trafficked and abused children. He said, “We go to homes — 13, 14, 15 year old children who are r*ped on a daily basis because the Biden administration, the Democrat Party, chose to traffic them into this country.”
