In a masterful performance from a recent interview, Border Czar Tom Homan defended his decision to deport three children along with their illegal immigrant mothers as a parental choice to keep families together.
For context, strongly supporting his assertion, Homan declared that having a citizen child doesn’t provide immunity from immigration law. Wrapping up his remarks, the courageous border czar touted an impressive 139,000 deportations and said he was thrilled with the progress made by ICE when compared to the Biden administration.
In any case, the interaction began with a cynical woke journalist trying to surprise Homan with trick questions. She began, “Late last week, there were three US citizen children who were removed with their mothers who were in the United States illegally…. Are you concerned that due process, at least for the US citizen children, is being clouded, and that the speed at which the enforcement is being done could lead to errors?” She added another question, “Could you give an update on the deportation versus under this administration, and whether you’re pleased with them?”
After a brief digression about another case, Homan fired back at the journalist with an epic retort. He stated, “As far as the three… kids, I’d said from day one, if you enter this country legally, it’s a crime if you remain this country legally, and you ignore a judge’s order about itself, about deporting if you choose have US citizen child, knowing you’re in this country legally, you put yourself in that position.”
Continuing his thorough rebuke, Homan went after the mothers who knowingly put their children in an unstable position. He declared, “You put your family in that position. What we did was remove children with their mothers who requested the children depart with them.”
Going after the mainstream media for their endless biased coverage of the Trump administration, Homan kept on the attack. He added. “The story today became ‘Trump administration separating families again.’ No, we’re keeping families together. So when a parent says, ‘I want that, I want my two-year-old baby to go with me, we made that happen. They weren’t deported. We don’t import US citizens. The parents made that decision, not the United States government,” adding, “Having a US citizen child does not make you immune from our laws.”
Interjecting another question, the journalist butted in. She asked, Homan, to react to ICE’s progress, saying, “Can you give an update on the deportation numbers on this administration…[And] whether you’re pleased with that?”

Responding with confidence, Homan stated, “[The last number] was 139,000 deportations. Am I happy with that? Our numbers are good, especially if you look at the ICE numbers. ICE arrest removals are far beyond a Biden, but read the media, oh, ICE, the deportations are behind the Biden administration. Well, why? Because they counted border removals. We don’t have 10.5 million people crossing the border. We don’t have border removals.”
