In a moment which instantly went viral, Tom Homan, the Trump administration’s border Czar, shocked CNN’s Kasie Hunt by stating that he would throw Denver Mayor Johnston in prison for a series of outrageous comments about Trump’s border policy.
For context, in a series of absurd remarks, Denver Mayor Johnston defended giving government aid to 42,000+ arrivals, while continuously rejecting mass deportations. He has also publicly opposed ICE and minimized the cost of illegal immigration. Homan responded to all that by threatening to arrest Johnson.
Reacting to the hilarious interaction, one account posted, “INSURRECTION: US mayor threatens to violate immigration federal law, and when the incoming Border Czar threatens to arrest him, CNN’s Kasie Hunt looks disgusted and shocked.”
The same source noted, “CNN’s Kasie Hunt visibly stunned after playing a clip of Tom Homan saying he would gladly throw Denver Mayor Mike Johnston in jail for defying Trump’s deportation operation,” adding, “This is the best video you will watch all day.”
In any case, the courageous Border Czar laid out his message for the Denver mayor in light of the mayor’s comments about immigration. “Me and the Denver mayor agree on one thing. He’s willing to go to jail. I’m willing to put him in jail,” he explained. In reaction, Hunt stated, “Oooof. Ummmm.”
In any case, while speaking on immigration, Mike Johnston, the Denver Mayor, reframed the issue. “We are each entitled to our own opinion about what should happen at the border, but that was not the question facing Denver. The question Denver faced was: What will you do with a mom and two kids dropped on the streets of our city with no warm clothes, no food and no place to stay?” he asked.
Doubling down, he continued, “Denver made a choice as a city — not to hate each other, but to help each other. It wasn’t perfect, and it required sacrifice from all of us, but in the end, Denver came out stronger and closer than we were before.”

Raising his opposition to a potentially illegal level, the Democrat stated that Trump’s mass deportations would lead to a “Tiananmen Square moment” in Denver, adding that he was “not afraid” to go to jail for defying efforts that were “illegal or immoral.”
Reacting to the clip, conservatives blasted the entitled politician. “Why is she shocked? It’s treason, and Homan has said it many times, he will prosecute anyone who gets in his way,” one confused user asked. “CNN is worried about illegals being deported? Is that the way a news organization acts? It seems to me that is the way an activist would act,” another user pointed out. Likewise, one comment read, “Yeah, Kasie…. It’s called FAFO 🤷♂️ And there is plenty to go around for all you defiant Democrats currently pandering by way of virtue signal. 🤡.”

Enraged, another added, “Enforcing federal immigration law should not be controversial. All undocumented immigrants are criminals – they broke the law when they entered the country.
The only real chance illegal aliens have of coming back into the United States legally is if they self deport now ILLIGALY!”
