Sounding off during a fiery Tuesday, December 24, interview with Fox Business Network, Trump’s incoming Border Czar, Tom Homan, sounded off on the state of things in America, noting that the woman accused of setting a woman on fire on the New York City subway system got government benefits that Americans such as his victim don’t.
Trump, announcing Homan will be his Border Czar in a post on Truth Social, said, “I am pleased to announce that the Former ICE Director, and stalwart on Border Control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration, in charge of our Nation’s Borders (‘The Border Czar’), including, but not limited to, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security.”
Continuing, Trump said that there’s no one better than Homan, saying, “I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders.” He further noted, “Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin. Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”
In any case, Homan, appearing on Fox Business Network right before Christmas, noted that the illegal immigrant accused of setting a woman on fire on a New York City subway was getting a slew of government benefits, such as free housing and free meals, that Americans such as the woman he’s accused of killing don’t get.
Making that point about the state of things in America, Homan said, “[Y]ou think about it, this illegal alien that burned this young lady alive, he probably had a free hotel room, three squares a day, … gets free medical attention, … but this young homeless person, she [doesn’t] have anything and she died a horrendous death.”
Continuing, Homan sounded off on the sanctuary city mayors and the governors allowing that to happen, saying, “So, I want Hochul, I want the mayor of Chicago, the governor, all these sanctuary cities that are speaking out against President Trump and myself running this deportation operation, I want you to watch that video and know how this young lady suffered…”
Building on that, he noted that many others have faced serious pain and suffering thanks to the illegal immigration that they allow to happen by protecting and aiding those illegal immigrants. He said,on that point, “I want you to listen to the Laken Riley tape…how she fought for her life, that young lady didn’t want to die.”
And, concluding, Homan sounded off on those in government who refuse to use their power to protect those locals who are relying on them to provide just and effective law enforcement and policing, and are instead getting all sorts of government protections for illegals. He said, making that point, “I want you to realize how these people died, and tell me you still support sanctuary cities, tell me that you don’t want to help me remove public safety threats from the community.”
