WATCH: Tom Homan Hilariously Trashes “The View” as The “Island of Misfit Toys”

When Immigration Czar Tom Homan sat down with OutKick’s Tomi Lahren, he demolished The View with an epic putdown and explained his thoughts about enforcing immigration law. During the interview, Homan explained the massive number of illegals who streamed across the border during the Biden administration and also excoriated blue state politicians for propping up sanctuary cities.

For background, Homan, Trump’s Border Csar,  has often clashed with TV personalities and leftwing politicians, especially those who advocate for sanctuary cities. These cities, predominantly in far-left areas, refuse to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement even in the case when the illegal is a violent criminal.

To start his remarks. Homan savaged The View, saying, “I consider them the island will misfit toys. And look, she was right… We are serious. You can take that to the bank. We’re serious… The last number I saw there’s over 700,000 illegal aliens have been convicted of crime that are running the streets of this country.”

The immigration Tsar pivoted to explaining the massive threat to national security. He added, “So we got…a rich target environment, absolutely the national security threats. There are 1000s in here. They’re on a terrorist watch list, and this administration released into the country. We got 2.2 million who got away. 2.2 million people that paid more to get away. Why didn’t they pay less? And just, you know, turn themselves into … Joe [Biden.]”

Homan examined his question more closely. He said, “[You can] get a free airline ticket to the city of their choice, get a free hotel room, get three meals a day, get free medical care, and get work authorization, and within 90 days for a lot less money, [so] why did 2.2 million people pay the cartels a hell of a lot more money to get away and not take advantage than the free giveaway?”

He answered his question and took another swipe at The View. He continued, “Because they didn’t want to be vetted. They didn’t want to be fingerprinted. We have a problem here, and President Trump is giving me the command to take care of the problem, so we’ve got plenty of work to do. The View says we’re going to do our job, and she’s right. We’re serious.”

Tom Homan said he’s not securing the border for money but because he loves his nation. He said, “I wouldn’t be here if I weren’t serious. I just signed a piece of paper that I will take an 80% pay cut to do this, because I’ve been doing really well in the retirement world, but I love my country. I’ve been bitching about the border for four years. The President of the United States called me and said, You’ve been complaining about it. Do you want to fix it? Because here’s your opportunity. So I jumped at it.”

He ended his remarks by hammering woke politicians in so-called sanctuary states. He added, ” So for those that have already vowed to defy the Trump administration and your efforts that have said, Nope, we’re a sanctuary city. We’re a sanctuary state. We’re not going to help. We’re going to do everything we can to try to stop your agenda and try to stop the deportation of criminal aliens. Amazing that there are politicians willing to admit that.”
