WATCH: Tom Homan Confirms ICE Is Flooding Minnesota To Target Somali Migrants Connected to “Criminal Activity”

Speaking in an epic interview on Fox News Channel, Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are indeed flooding into Minnesota to target, detain, and deport the Somali migrants who are connected to the vast fraud networks in the state that have pilfered hundreds of millions of dollars from hardworking Minnesotan taxpayers.

As background, reports into the subject, along with criminal trials and prosecutions, have revealed that Somali migrants in Minnesota took advantage of public aid programs in the state, such as programs meant to aid parents of autistic children. In so doing, they not only pilfered huge amounts of money, but also allegedly sent a great deal of it to the Al Shabab terror group in Somalia.

So, appearing for an interview on FNC with Laura Ingraham, Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed that ICE is going to be cracking down on fraud in the state in a big way, targeting the communities for deportation. He said, “Secretary Noem just talked about, just elevated their priority status. So yes, you know there’s going to be an increase of activity up there, and we’re going to hold people accountable. We’re going to enforce the law without apology.”

Continuing by threatening sanctuary cities generally, Mr. Homan said, “So again, I told every sanctuary city, mayor, governor, you can stand aside and let us make your community safer, remove criminals and even legal aliens that commit crimes and make themselves that they’re resident alien, they commit a certain offense, a family offense, even they’re deportable and they’ll be deported. We’re going to enforce the laws of this country without apology, including in the Twin Cities.”

Pressing him for some details on the timeline, Ingraham asked the border czar when ICE is going to make its presence really felt in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, asking, “When do you expect ice to make its presence really known in the Twin Cities, Tom?”

Responding, he didn’t give exact details, but did confirm that the crackdown is coming. He said, “I can’t, I can’t forecast that I want to, like, I don’t want to give up operations. But I can tell you that you know Secretary Noem’s all over it. I know ICE and CBP and other federal agencies, the FBI, DEA, ATF, the, President Trump’s been a genius on this. He brings all the government to these operations.”

He continued, explaining how the whole of government approach is proving very effective, “So if we arrest an alien with drugs, you got the DEA right there, can prosecute the case before we deport them. If you get them with a gun, you got ATF right there, prosecute the case before we deport them.”

Then, returning to the matter of the crackdown in the Minneapolis area, he said, “But I can tell you, focus is there. It’s coming. But I don’t want to give a lot. I can’t tell you how many people on the ground. Now, 100 people are going to be on the ground. I’ll leave that to the Secretary of Homeland Security. Homeland Security, but focuses on those twin cities more because of the criminal activities been uncovered by DOJ and DHS.”
