WATCH: Tom Homan Announces Major Victory Over Sanctuary City Authorities in Epic Presser

Speaking in an epic press conference out of Minnesota, Trump Administration Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that the federal immigration agents deployed to Minnesota, and federal apparatus generally, have managed to defeat the obstreperous sanctuary city authorities in the state, forcing them to comply with DHS requests regarding illegal immigrants, and so hundreds of agents can be deployed to places where they are more needed.

As background, the Trump Administration flooded Minnesota, particularly Minneapolis, with massive numbers of agents in the wake of the revelations regarding primarily Somali migrant-connected fraud that has been pilfering welfare programs funded by state and federal taxpayers for years.

Those agents soon found themselves engaged in a massive battle both with the migrants themselves and with state authorities, who both refused to help them deal with rioters and at times seemed to even be aiding the anti-federal agent agitators who were attempting to aid the migrants and illegal aliens.

However, the Trump Administration was eventually able to force the Walz government and local authorities into backing down, and was able to announce that state and local police officers would henceforth be dealing with the rioters and agitators, as was seen when the cops arrested rioters while ICE agents looked on laughingly, sipping beers.

So, with those victories in hand and growing, Homan was able to announce that 700 agents can be withdrawn from operations in Minnesota and deployed elsewhere, as the new cooperation of the local authorities means the manpower needs of the operation are less pressing and the agents can instead be deployed where they are more needed, a significant victory for the administration.

He said, commenting on the Walz Administration’s surprising decision to start cooperating, “Given this increase in unprecedented collaboration, and as a result of the need for less public safety officers to do this work and a safer environment, I am announcing, effective immediately, we’ll draw down 700 people effective today — 700 law enforcement personnel.”

That represents nearly a quarter of the federal agents who were deployed to the area, and about 2000 agents will remain in the state to continue cracking down on the migrant fraud apparatus and the illegal aliens in the state, particularly the sanctuary city of Minneapolis, which harbors a large illegal alien population.

Further, Mr. Homan commented on why the operation has been a success, saying that a great many illegal aliens have been taken off the street and the government has been forced to comply with the immigration authorities.“Yeah, I just listed a bunch of people we took off the streets of the Twin Cities, so I think it’s very effective as far as public safety goes,” Border Czar Homan said.

Continuing, he noted that while the immigration operation wasn’t perfect, it was nevertheless a big success. He said, “Was it a perfect operation? No. No. We created one unified chain of command to make sure everybody is on the same page. And make sure we follow the rules. I don’t think anybody, purposely, didn’t do something they should have done.”
