WATCH: TDS-Afflicted, Former CIA Director John Brennan Explodes in Ballistic Meltdown after Investigation into His Lies Begins

Former CIA Director John Brennan, who is accused of having lied to Congress about the CIA’s involvement in the Russia Hoax and investigation of President Trump that surrounded it, freaked out during an appearance on MSNBC in which he discussed the charges he is facing and claimed that it is authoritarianism that is responsible for his predicament.

For reference, Brennan appeared on MSNBC’s “Deadline” program to discuss the investigation into his conduct and the situation surrounding it on Wednesday, July 9. Rather than defending his conduct, he claimed that the government is acting in an authoritarian manner by investigating his seemingly obvious lies.

Beginning his tedious rant, Brennan claimed from the start that the investigation into what appear to be his outright lies to Congress is part of “the authoritarian playbook.” He said, “It’s so sad and tragic. You know, I keep thinking, OK, this is the authoritarian playbook. We’ve seen this play out so many times. And unfortunately, I think we’re seeing it play out.”

Continuing, he claimed that an investigation into serious misconduct is the same thing as Communist China persecuting political allies, saying, “We’ve seen it in Viktor Orban in Hungary, we’ve seen it with Vladimir Putin, we see it in China and other places. We see it also in terms of, you know, some of the foreign policies that are being implemented, including, you know, in the Middle East right now.”

Then, claiming that he is worried not because of the consequences to himself but because of “American history,” saying, ridiculously, “So I really am very worried that what we’re seeing now in this chapter of American history is a sad deterioration of, I think, the respect for the rule of law and for our system of government.”

Even more absurdly, the Deep State agent who lied to Congress and launched a politicized investigation of President Trump claimed that Trump was weaponizing America’s intelligence agencies and DOJ. He said, “If a President of the United States is willing to weaponize intelligence and Justice and law enforcement investigators and the people who head up these departments and agencies are willing to bow to it, we really are in deep, deep trouble.”

Still not done, the former CIA director then claimed that Americans are “worried” about the Trump DOJ holding corrupt hacks accountable, outright nonsense given how many Americans voted for President Trump and are excited to see him hold his and their enemies accountable for past misdeeds.

In any case, Brennan said, on that point, “Which is why I think so many people are worried about the direction this country is taking. So this whole thing about the CIA note and this possible referral of me and criminal investigation, I think, is just symptomatic of a much broader disease that we are confronting right now.”

Concluding, he then claimed that the “disease” in America is that there are “democratic principles” that are under attack because of Trump’s alleged authoritarianism. He said, “In terms of how our democratic principles are being eroded and corroded as a result of this authoritarian march that we are witnessing every day.”
