WATCH: Sydney Sweeney Warms Hearts Playing with Kids on Film Set

America’s sweetheart and newest “It” girl, Sydney Sweeney is proving once again that she truly is a throwback to the golden era of Hollywood with not only the looks of a classic starlet, but the humble attitude of an individual who actually feels grateful to be in the unique position she’s in. A new video is going viral on social media, showing Sweeney interacting with some children on the set of her new film, The Housemaid’s Secret.

The video clip starts off with Sweeney bending down to talk to a very young girl in a blue dress. The two talk fashion for a little bit before taking a picture together in a heartwarming gesture that shows just how down-to-earth Sweeney is, despite her mega stardom. Later in the clip, the Christy actress tries to talk with a little boy, but he turns away from her, completely starstruck, embarrassed, and shy, which is likely the kind of reaction grown men have around Sydney Sweeney, so there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Sweeney’s much softer side and obviously love for children will only serve to alienate her further from her critics on the left who have seemingly created a competitive sport out of who can roast her the most practically every single time she does something. The liberal hatred for Sweeney kicked off during the summer of 2025 after the actress and model released an ad campaign for American Eagle Jeans.

The ad featured the slogan, “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans,” which liberals misconstrued — or more likely completely twisted — into being a promotion of white supremacy because the Euphoria star is white, blonde, and blue-eyed. In the wake of the controversy, with radical left-wingers foaming at the mouth to have Sweeney canceled or to bow down to the group think of the entertainment industry, Sweeney stood firm, according to a report from Yahoo News.

When an interviewer asked her about the criticism, she said, “I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.” In other words, she’s going to keep the majority of her political opinions to herself and focus on creating entertainment that people want to watch, which many conservatives consider to be a great breath of fresh air given the current climate in Hollywood.

Folks on the right soon adopted Sweeney as one of their own after finding out that she is a registered Republican voter. President Donald Trump heaped praise on the actress for her ad campaign and unwillingness to bow to the woke mob. “Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves,’” the president said on Truth Social, according to an earlier report from The American Tribune.

“Go get ‘em Sydney! On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad,” President Trump continued. Sweeney responded to the president’s tribute by calling the comments “surreal.”
