In yet another awesome public appearance from all-American heartthrob Sydney Sweeney, this one calculated to tease and excite NASCAR fans before the green flag was waved at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway in Arizona, the actress showed off her curves and got the audience roaring.
As background, the NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series in NASCAR, with the championship the most prestigious event in the race series. The four drivers this year were William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson and Chase Briscoe. Sweeney, in her pre-race speech, reminded all of them of the importance of their event and what a mean would win for their legacies.
Beginning, she commented on the immense stakes and importance to legacy that would come with a championship win, noting that it means more than just a race victory. She said, “Most days, this checkered flag means victory, but today, it means something more. A dream realized, a life changed, a name that will never be forgotten.”
Continuing, she referenced her upcoming film, in which she plays a female boxing champion, to comment on grit and determination of the sort that the drivers need. She said, “In my new film ‘Christy,’ I play a warrior. A fighter who refused to quit. ‘Christy’ is about grit, about determination – the same spirit that it takes to make it to the Championship Four.”
Still not done, she said, displaying the checkered flag as she did so, that each could be the future champion if they displayed the appropriate mix of skill and grit. She said, “So, to our future champion, remember what this flag stands for. You’re not just another driver, you’re a NASCAR champion.”
For her speech, the bombshell actress was in a tantalizing outfit, wearing a sharp-looking white racing jacked with red stripes, a white tank top underneath, black leather short shorts that showed off her bronzed skin, and chic boots, along with a pair of clear glasses. She was also seen, before the race, being chatted up by championship competitor William Byron, who had been pulled over to meet her by his race teammate, Austin Dillon.

Commenting to Variety on what it’s like being a Hollywood star right now, and what she sees herself as being, Sweeney said, “I play a lot of very divisive characters, and I think that a lot of people think they know me, but they don’t. So when people think, ‘Ah, she’s a sex symbol,’ or ‘She’s leaning into that,’ I’m like, ‘No, I just feel good, and I’m doing it for myself and I feel strong.’
Continuing, she told the outlet that she hopes she can inspire other women to be proud of their beauty like she is, saying, “And I hope that I can inspire other women to be confident and just flaunt what they got and feel good because you shouldn’t have to apologize or hide or cover up in any room.”
