Kristi Noem might have been fired from her position as Department of Homeland Security Secretary, but that hasn’t stopped far-left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz from going berserk about and threatening her over how DHS cracked down on his state to root out illegal aliens, foreign fraudsters, and the like. In fact, he seemed to threaten her with lawfare.
That came when Walz appeared on MS NOW’s (formerly MSNBC) “The Briefing” on Thursday, March 5, and vowed that investigators in Minnesota would drag Secretary Noem before them to make her answer questions about DHS’s conduct in the state, sinisterly insisting that such would merely be “accountability” rather than “retribution”.
Kicking off his threats directed former DHS Secretary Noem’s way, Gov. Walz declared, “Former Secretary Noem should probably get used to spending more time in Minnesota because I have a pretty good feeling in the future she may be doing that because we have got to get accountability.”
Chiming in, former Biden White House Press Secretary and current MS NOW host Jen Psaki pressed him for more details, clearly enraptured by the idea of vengeance on a Trump official. She said, “When you say she, she’s just expect to spend some time, more time in Minnesota what do you mean by that?”
Walz explained his plans of vengeance against former Secretary Noem, saying, “Well, look, our folks are going to be, looking into each and every one of these incidents that happened. We’re going to want answers. Who gave the orders to do this? Who said that these folks could do that?”
Continuing, the ridiculous governor angrily insisted that he would get vengeance on Secretary Noem for being mean to Minnesotans, saying, “Why, within 20 minutes, before understanding what happened, she found the need to slander Minnesotans, American citizens. Why did they not retract that?”
He then declared, referencing the two shootings that happened during immigration operations in the state, “And why were, why were Minnesota investigators at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension not allowed to be on these scenes? Where’s the evidence? We need the evidence to do this.”

Still not done, the woke governor went on to insist that he wants “accountability” against Secretary Noem, saying, “And I know both County Attorney Moriarty, Attorney General Ellison are people are looking for accountability. That’s what the system is. This isn’t as Donald Trump is.”
Concluding, he insisted that “accountability” is different from “retribution,” saying,”He came here on retribution. We’re not looking for retribution. We’re looking for justice. And we’re looking to make sure that no one is above the law. So Kristi Noem, I it sure seems to me there’s a lot of unanswered questions.”

The Walz interview came the same day as Trump ushering Noem out of DHS, which he announced on Truth Social, saying, “I am pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS), effective March 31, 2026. The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida. I thank Kristi for her service at ‘Homeland.'”
