WATCH: Stefanik Brings the Receipts to Expose Hochul, Utterly Destroy Her in Public Hearing, Leaving Hochul “Squirming in the Hot Seat” as Her Disaster Got Exposed

In an epic show of wits, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) demolished the woke Governor of New York for her nonsensical sanctuary city polices. A transcript of the showdown was posted to X, formerly Twitter, and conservatives leaped at the chance to dunk on the controversial Democrat.

For context, Governor Hochul has expanded the deep blue state’s longstanding sanctuary policies, which include a 2017 executive order banning state collaboration with ICE and a 2020 mandate blocking immigration arrests in sensitive locations. Her radical policies and disdain for the law have put her in conflict with President Trump and Border Czar Tom Homan, who are focused on ending the immigration crisis.

Such was shown in a lengthy June 10, 2025, post to X by a prominent conservative account, who stated, “HOLY SMOKES: Elise Stefanik just took a flamethrower to Governor Hochul over her sanctuary state policies—and it was BRUTAL. Rep. Stefanik brought the HEAT 🔥🔥🔥 Governor Kathy Hochul was squirming in the hot seat with nowhere to go.”

Quoting from the exchange, the social media user noted, “‘Governor Hochul, on your first day in office, you signed Executive Order One. Is that correct?’Hochul confirmed. Then Stefanik dropped the receipts: ‘It is the policy of the state that state officers or employees shall not disclose information to federal immigration authorities for the purpose of federal civil immigration enforcement.'”

Continuing the commentary, the post explained, “And that’s when it got brutal. ‘Do you know who Sakir Akkan is? You should as the Governor of New York State. Do you know?’ Hochul replied: ‘Refresh my recollection.'”

Still not done, the user posted, “Stefanik didn’t hold back. ‘He was an illegal migrant in New York. And do you know what crime he committed in addition to being here illegally?’ Hochul: ‘No, I do not.’ Stefanik: “You do not. This was widely reported. He found a 15 year old girl, threatened her with a metal pole, told her to get into the back seat of his car. He took her clothes off and he violently r*ped her in Albany, New York.'”

Continuing the epic demolition, the user described how the brave Republican demolished Hochul. The post continued, “Then came the next case. ‘Do you know who Sebastian Zepeta-Calil is?’ Hochul tried to deflect: ‘I’m sure you’ll tell me. There’s many cases——’ But Stefanik kept going: ‘These are high profile cases. New Yorkers know about them, and you don’t. So let’s talk about Sebastian Zepeta-Calil. Do you know who that is?'”

At this point, the Democrat began to crack under the pressure. The tweet explained, “Hochul admitted: ‘I don’t have the specific details at my disposal. No.’ Stefanik: “Well, this is an illegal migrant in New York because of your sanctuary state policies—He found a sleeping woman on the subway, lit her on fire and burned her alive.'”

Concluding the epic beatdown, Stefanik  declared, “This is in Hochul’s New York, and as I’m sure you are aware, and I’ll remind you that ICE issued an order to detain this violent criminal, but that was rejected by New York officials due to sanctuary state laws.”
