WATCH: Stacey Abrams Has Total Meltdown about President Trump after He Yanks Billions of Dollars in Biden Grants Away from Her NGOs, Begins Investigation Into Her Illegal Moves

Stacey Abrams appeared on CNN News Central on March 5, 2025, the day after President Trump’s first State of the Union address, and launched into an anti-Trump rant. She called him an “early failure” and a “petty tyrant” surrounded by “complicit flunkies,” claiming his agenda was “retribution” rather than progress.

Though this incident occurred in 2025, the whole scandal remains relevant because new details about her multifarious schemes to bilk taxpayers out of billions of dollars have continued to dribble out. In fact, in March of 2026, she was discovered to have had not just the one non-profit funded by billions of Bidenbucks, but two more as well, one of which was funding street protests with taxpayer dollars!

When CNN anchor John Berman noted the pettiness of Democrats waving protest signs during the speech, Abrams defended the tactic as an oppositional duty to highlight the truth and protect First Amendment rights against what she called Trump’s efforts to clamp down on the media and protests.

She argued that with Republicans controlling the White House, Congress, and a Supreme Court majority, any failure to deliver would prove they were “powerless,” urging Americans to “take our power back.” A viral clip of the interview noted that Abrams and the voting-rights group she founded, Fair Count, are currently under investigation for illegally aiding her gubernatorial campaign.

In any case, the controversial Democrat alleged, “Donald Trump is an early failure, and he’s hoping that by attacking folks like me and others, that we won’t notice that he has failed and that he has no intention of delivering anything other than retribution.”

“He is a petty tyrant who is surrounded by complicit flunkies, and it is the job of Americans to stand up and say, We want what we voted for, and that is progress for America, not petty revenge for Donald Trump,” she raved.

Interjecting, CNN anchor John Berman pointed out, “But in the subject of pettiness, even what Democrats were doing during the speech with the signs of what Al Green did? You don’t find that petty?” referencing an embarrassing display of partisan hackery from the Democrats at Trump’s 2025 State of the Union.

Continuing, she whined, “I do not, because in an opposition position, your job is to show people what is true. And we have a president who is doing his best to clamp down on the media, to shut down on protest. He does not want us to use our First Amendment rights.”

“Let’s not forget who is in power,” Abrams alleged, “They control both branches of government, and they have appointed the majority of the Supreme Court. If Republicans can’t deliver when they hold all of the power, then what they’re telling us is that they’re powerless, and it’s up to Americans to take our power back to take our country back and to create the future that we deserve.”

Posting the clip, a viral post noted, “Stacey Abrams, who, along with the voting rights group she founded, is being investigated after the organization acknowledged it illegally aided her gubernatorial campaign, went on an anti-Trump rant, calling him an “early failure” and a ‘petty tyrant.'”
