WATCH: Senator “Spartacus” Vows to “Keep Fighting” Trump Even If It Lands Him in Prison

Sounding off in a very unintentionally funny appearance on MSNBC, Sen. Cory Booker, who once referred to himself as “Spartacus,” vowed that he would keep fighting against President Donald Trump even if the cost of doing so is his ending up in jail and facing charges for his doing so.

Such is what came when the far-left Democratic United States Senator from New Jersey spoke to Jen Psaki in a Thursday, July 10, appearance on  MSNBC’s “The Briefing” in which the two radical leftists spoke about fighting back against President Donald Trump. For reference, Psaki is struggling with poor ratings on her show, even compared to other MSNBC hosts.

In any case, the former Biden White House Press Secretary kicked off the conversation and Booker’s tiresome tirade by asking what he says to people when Trump comes after him. She asked, “Trump attacked you today, I believe, of being of Trump and people from the administration going after you. You’re in elected office. You accept that I know. What do you say to people?”

Continuing, she asked about whistleblowers and how he tries to drum up anti-Trump actions from people inside the Trump Administration, asking, “What is your message to whistleblowers or people whose stories are so important to tell about why they should do it now, and what impact it could have?”

Responding, Sen. Booker said that his main message is teaching people how to “Stand up and fight,” as that is what he plans on continuing to do regardless of the consequences, whether President Trump decides to mock him publicly or have him jailed for doing something illegal while protesting the administration.

He said, on that point about fighting Trump regardless of the consequences, “I’m going to continue to fight. I don’t care if this president calls me out every day, mean tweets me, threatens me. We know I’ve had open conversations with senators I never thought I would have.

Continuing, he added that those conversations have come “because we saw what they’ve done with a congressperson, my congresswoman, LaMonica McIver, arresting her.” For reference, Rep. McIver was arrested and charged because she violently attacked federal agents while storming an ICE facility alongside Newark, NJ Mayor Ras Baraka.

Sen. Booker then ignored that McIver and Baraka were arrested because they broke into an ICE facility and attacked the agents guarding it, pretending that there is an ongoing reign of terror targeting Democrats. He said, “My mayor, they’ve arrested. They’re picking off, it seems, people that live in Newark that are in elected positions. But I don’t care throw me in jail. Do what you have to do. I’m going to continue to stand up for what’s right.”

Concluding, Sen. Booker insisted that he is aiming to “ignite” a fight against Trump, saying, “I’m hoping that when one person stands up and calls this out, it ignites the courage of another person and another person and another person. We have to at a time that our fundamental rights and freedoms, that the very democracy that we that we know is precious, is under attack by this president. We’ve got to have more people willing to stand up and fight and take him on.”
