Known as America’s funniest senator because of how funny he can be, even when being scathing at the same time, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) proved his comedy chops yet again when he appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” program with Sean Hannity and joked about leading Democrats to buy some manhood on Amazon and stand up to the far-left members of their party.
Sen. Kennedy’s comments on the matter came as Senate and House Minority Leaders Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) are bizarrely doing their best to resist and oppose President Donald Trump’s anti-crime takeover of Washington, D.C., using their power to appease the far left by opposing rather than supporting the anti-crime moves made by the president.
Sean Hannity asked Sen. Kennedy why that is happening, and he responded by telling the host that the mainstream Democrats don’t stand for anything anymore because they are so scared of the far-left wing of the party. He said, “The mainstream wing of the party is scared to death of the loon wing. They won’t speak up, and they don’t stand for anything anymore.”
Continuing on that point, the senator added that the Democratic coalition, including the theoretically sane and reasonable mainstream members of it, have no principles or ideas, but rather just want to oppose the president and his MAGA agenda. He said, “All they stand for… is against whatever President Trump stands for.”
Returning from that general statement to the specific crime matter at hand, Sen. Kennedy then noted that their lack of principle is why the Democratic leadership has, bizarrely, come out in favor of crime in DC. He said, “That’s why we’ve found ourselves in the position where mainstream Democrats have come out firmly and passionately in favor of crime in Washington, D.C.”
Hannity, responding, asked Sen. Kennedy whether he views both Democratic leaders as “minority leaders in name only,” as they are at the beck and call of the far-left wing of their party. That’s when Sen. Kennedy got to his hilarious zinger, saying that both of them need to go online and buy some manhood. He said, “I know Chuck very well, and I say this with all due respect: Chuck and Hakeem need to go to Amazon, buy some testicles, and stand up to the loon wing of their party.”
Concluding, the senator argued that if they don’t do so, and instead continue to back down to the very vocal and very radical fringes of their party, they will continue to let their party drift into political irrelevance at the hands of far-left ideologues like far-left New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.

Mamdani, as background, is a socialist politician who is also a Muslim immigrant originally from Uganda. Referencing him and the state of the Democratic party in his conclusion, Sen. Kennedy said, “And until they’re willing to do that… I haven’t heard Senator Schumer say anything bad about Mamdani, I mean the guy’s a socialist! The party is not going to get better this way.”
