Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) brilliantly exposed liberal professor Dr. Mary Anne Franks by challenging her claim that the Supreme Court is motivated by white male supremacy, using Franks own words against her by reading from her social media accounts during a Senate hearing, leaving Franks was visibly irritated while also revealing her left-leaning biases behind her academic rhetoric.
For context, Dr. Mary Anne Franks is an American legal scholar and author more widely known for her radical left-wing social media posts, which became a problem during her appearance at the Censorship Industrial Complex Senate Judiciary hearing on March 25, 2025, when Sen. Kennedy read her posts aloud, revealing her biased liberal ideology.
Franks initially denied any bias, but Sen. Kennedy zeroed in on a shocking article Franks wrote for the New York University Law Review, where she boldly accused the Supreme Court of turning the Constitution into a weapon of racial patriarchy. In the article she wrote, “Taken together, these two cases demonstrate that the Supreme Court has embraced the use of the Constitution as a tool of racial patriarchy.”
Sen. Kennedy then confronted Franks with another stunning assertion from the same article. Her quote read, “When the Supreme Court declares that there is a constitutional right to armed self-defense in public, it openly embraces and promotes a culture that privileges white men’s ability to terrorize and kill those that they perceive as threats.”
Franks’s lunatic leftist ideology did not end there, Sen. Kennedy subsequently quoted another controversial line of hers from the article, in which she wrote, “By simultaneously expanding white men’s right to kill and constricting women’s right not to die, this Supreme Court has turned the Constitution into a homicide pact as well.” Franks merely smirked, seemingly unbothered by the incendiary implications of her words, replying, “That sounds like me.”
Sen. Kennedy also revealed Franks’s radical perspective by confronting her directly with inflammatory and deeply divisive social media posts, among these, a shocking tweet in which Franks made the outrageous assertion that most Americans harbor a deep-seated hatred for women. Posting on X, she bluntly declared, “The majority of Americans hate women more than they love anything. Including democracy.” Watch the clip here:

The exchange reached a dramatic climax when Kennedy brought up another controversial tweet from Franks. In the post, Frank said, “There’s a reason why the conservative-dominated Supreme Court thinks the Constitution does not contain a right to an abortion but is convinced that it contains an individual right to possess firearms, and that reason is white male supremacy.”
When Sen. Kennedy pressed Franks to acknowledge how the radical claim showed her basis, she tried dodging again, saying, “Is there a question relevant to this hearing?” Kennedy then directly challenged Franks’ shocking assertion, asking aggressively, “Do you really think the United States Supreme Court, you’re an officer of the court! Is it guided by ‘white male supremacy’?” Franks looked shocked, without an answer, speechless by her own words.
