In a hilarious interaction, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) mocked Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for trying to have President Trump impeached. While speaking on Fox News, Fetterman said that the impeachment was “Not going anywhere,” much to the joy of online conservatives.
For context, Fetterman has crossed the aisle several times, such as when he slammed his party after Democrats protested Donald Trump’s historic address to Congress. The Pennsylvania Senator described the reaction as, “A sad cavalcade of self-owns and unhinged petulance. It only makes Trump look more presidential and restrained.”
In any case, the interaction began when the FNC host inquired about AOC’s controversial remarks. She said, “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says the president should be impeached because he’s impulsive. What do you think of that?”
Firing back, Sen. Fetterman blasted the woke Democrat, saying, “I mean, of course, no, she knows it. I know it. We all know it. That’s not going anywhere. And you know, he’s been impeached twice, and now he’s still our president as well, now too. So it’s not going anywhere.”
Concluding his epic rebuke of the spoiled representative, he added, “And I don’t think that’s helpful. And I think if you throw that term around, that actually diminishes the severity of what impeachment is really reserved for.”
In the comments under a clip of the incident, which was posted to social media, conservatives blasted the entitled AOC. One such comment read, “Democrats are mad that Fetterman is smarter than AOC and he’s had strokes.”
In a lengthy comment, one user celebrated Fetterman’s williness to support the president, saying, “Fetterman’s right—impeachment isn’t a partisan toy. AOC’s theatrics distract from real issues: Iran’s nuclear brinkmanship and the $55 million wasted on the Joint Autonomy Office’s redundant defense projects.”

Building out the case, the same user wrote, “The Laken Riley Act proves Congress can act decisively on security without political grandstanding. If Democrats want accountability, start with auditing the $1.7 trillion omnibus slush funds they rubber-stamped under Biden.”
Concluding, the long-winded conservative stated, “Real leadership isn’t chasing headlines—it’s obliterating threats and cutting waste, not weaponizing constitutional processes because you lost an election.”
Slamming the democrats, many users pointed out that AOC is diminishing the importance of impeachment. One such comment noted, “Fetterman on Fox: When people casually apply that label, it waters down the seriousness of what that process was meant to address. AGREE 👍” Agreeing, another said, “Democrats have threatened to impeach every Republican president since Eisenhower. Democrats, as usual have politicized a very important proceeding.”

However, Sen. Fetterman received some criticism from his own party. Responding with over the top vitriol, one liberal said, “He needs his head examined; again, he’s not who he once was, or it was all an act…. What about crimes against humanity? Will they work for you, John? Catastrophic economic illiteracy that has us in stagflation, with empty ships already in the ports and jobs and farms already lost?”
