WATCH: SCOTUS Delivers Another Key Ruling for Trump Empowering More DOGE Cuts

While DOGE has faded from the headlines with Elon Musk, it is still around and now is more empowered to make major cuts to wasteful federal spending than ever, as White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed when speaking to Fox News Channel host Jesse Watters about a string of major legal victories that the Trump Administration has won over rogue judges like Judge Boasberg.

For reference, Leavitt’s commentary on the matter of DOGE came after she and Watters discussed the fact that, in a 5 to 4 decision, the Supreme Court had shut down rogue, woke Judge James Boasberg, allowing the Trump Administration to use the Alien Enemies Act to deport gangsters to prison in El Salvador.

Then, after she described the magnitude of that victory and what it will allow, particularly in the realm of quickly effecting mass deportations that help clean up America’s streets, Watters noted that the ruling was merely one of a string of key legal victories over the rogue judges that President Trump has recently won.

He said, on that point, “And you had another couple critical wins in the [Supreme] Court with regard to DOGE.” Continuing, he asked for more details on what progress DOGE and the administration are making in their fight against rogue judges, asking, “Tell us about those. That seems to be making progress?”

Leavitt, responding, noted that though the media is refusing to cover what has happened in the courts, the president has scored a sweeping collection of victories over the rogue judiciary. She said, “Yes, absolutely, there have been many wins that the mainstream media has failed to cover, particularly over the weekend.”

Continuing, she added some details about those wins that DOGE has seen, particularly in the realm of being able to cut funding, saying, “The Supreme Court also ruled that the President does, in fact, have the authority over federal funding, that he can dictate what funds can go out the door and what can’t, so long as they are part of the executive branch.”

Leavitt then noted that DOGE and Trump’s actions generally are perfectly constitutional, and these recent wins have confirmed that. She said, “So we have always, again, maintained that every executive order the President assigned, every executive action that he has taken has been well within his executive authority, and DOGE is doing a tremendous job at cutting back at the waste and the fraud and the abuse that have been ripping off American taxpayers that have not been aligned with our interests here in our country.”

She concluded by noting that the Supreme Court has firmly shown through its rulings that the rogue judges will be shot down, saying, “So we’re going to continue the President’s agenda. Again, he’s well within his constitutional authority, and it’s great to see the Supreme Court reigning in these activist judges who are wearing robes but are acting as judicial activists, not as real judges and real arbiters of the law, right?”

Watters concluded with some jokes and jabs at lawyers and Judge Boasberg, saying, “Lawyers wrong. I can’t believe a lawyer would ever be wrong. It just, just amazes me. They think they’re always right, I guess not this time. Sorry. Boasberg, we love you, but we’re sorry. Karoline, thank you. Bye.”
