Peter Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute, recently appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo to drop some serious allegations about Hunter Biden and Joe Biden that he claims are substantiated by information on the Hunter Biden laptop and recent IRS whistleblower allegations.
Beginning, Schweizer alleged that the communications between Hunter and his business partners on one side and then-Vice Presiden Biden on the other was done not on a watched and recorded government phone, which Biden was supposed to use as Vice President, but rather on a private phone line. He said: “It’s interesting, what is the line of communications between Hunter Biden and his business partners and Joe Biden when he’s vice president of the United States? It’s not the government phone, it’s not Joe Biden’s personal phone.”
He then added that the evidence for Biden’s being provided with that phone and using it came from Hunter’s laptop, also noting that the phone enabled one to contact someone anywhere in the world. In his words: “We know from the laptop that Hunter Biden’s business paid for a private phone line that Joe Biden used while he was vice president. It was from AT&T, it was $300 a month, it was a global phone where you could access somebody anywhere around the world.”
That suggests that Biden was contacting those people around the world, which is suspicious and suggestive of influence peddling or illicit foreign lobbying if they were speaking to Biden during negotiations in foreign countries like Ukraine or China.
Schweizer brought that up, noting that it’s possible Biden used the phone to talk to Burisma, which was paying Hunter a gargantuan amount for no obvious reason other than influence with his father. Schweizer said: “And that may be the phone, for example, that the Ukrainian, the Burisma executive might have used in this allegation that the he talked to Joe Biden in recorded conversations.”

He then connected the phone to alleged texts with Henry Zhao, a Chinese fund manager who Hunter allegedly texted, using his father’s influence to demand that Zhao honor the terms of a deal. Addressing the issue, Schweizer said:
“I would just say one other thing, Maria, as it relates to that sort of shakedown phone call with Henry Zhao that we alluded to, Henry Zhao in 2015 had already sent $5 million to the Bidens. He was the head of a Harvest Investment firm. And what’s interesting is in the correspondence there, Hunter Biden again talks to Zhao in the context of ‘this is a deal that’s important to my family’ involving his father.”
He also connected the aforementioned alleged texts to potential criminal activity that puts America’s national security at risk, noting that Zhao was involved with elements of the Chinese Ministry of State Security and that the funds sent to Hunter were tainted by MSS involvement. In his words:
“Let’s also keep in mind, we fixate on the criminal element of this, we also have to focus on the espionage element of this. Henry Zhao paid $5 million to Hunter Biden from an account that was part of a company that he co-owned with the family of the Minister of State Security of China, who’s in charge of the entire spy apparatus. And you see that in every deal that Hunter Biden did in China. These individuals that are sending him money have ties to Chinese intelligence.”
