In a viral video posted to social media, Saudi Arabian fighter jets escorted Air Force One as President Donald Trump flew in for a historic diplomatic meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Conservatives celebrated the viral footage in the viral moment and expressed their hopes for a positive result from the conference.
For context, dishonest leftists have tried to paint the trip as an attempt by President Trump to enrich himself. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shut down a reporter after he made “frankly ridiculous” claims to that effect.
In any case, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted the viral videos to X on May 14, 2025. His first post said, “A view from above as F-15QA Multirole Strike Fighters of the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) escort Air Force One into Qatar
”
Adding another view of Trump watching the fighter escort, he made an additional post on the social media app. He stated, “Happening Now—President Trump is looking out the window on Air Force One as we enter Qatar air space with a fighter jet escort. Landing shortly at Hamad International Airport in Qatar.Thank you!”
In the comments under his post, conservatives celebrated the show of respect. One such comment read, “This is utterly amazing: The escort of Air Force One by the Qatar Emiri Air Force’s F-15QA Multirole Strike Fighters is indeed a remarkable display of international military cooperation and diplomacy.”
Providing additional context, another user wrote, “The presence of Qatari fighter jets escorting Air Force One signifies a strong military and diplomatic alliance between the United States and Qatar. This is particularly notable given Qatar’s strategic importance in the Middle East, hosting the largest U.S. military base in the region, Al Udeid Air Base.”
As we reported, Karoline Leavitt did a fantastic job protecting Trump from a media smear campaign. She clarified that the primary goal of the trip was “to emphasize [President Trump’s] vision for a proud, prosperous, and successful Middle East, where the United States and Middle Eastern nations are in cooperative relationships, and where extremism is defeated in place of commerce and cultural exchanges.” She explained, “This trip ultimately highlights how we stand on the brink of the golden age for both America and the Middle East — united by a shared vision of stability, opportunity, and mutual respect.”

After a reporter dishonestly asked whether President Trump’s visit had anything to do with his enrichment, the press secretary replied, “Not to my knowledge, and let me just get to the premise of your question that both of you have raised. I think it’s frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit.”

Concluding her epic defence, Leavitt added, “He left a life of luxury and a life of running a very successful real estate empire for public service, not just once, but twice.” She continued, “The American public re-elected him back to this White House because they trust he acts in the best interest of our country and putting the American public first.”
