WATCH: Sanctuary State Governor Has Total Freakout Live on TV Over Republican Redistricting Efforts

Conservatives are moving, in the courts and legislature, to start redistricting and reapportioning the Congressional districts across America. Namely, the Trump Administration and Congress are working to exclude illegal aliens from the US Census to reapportion the districts based on Americans rather than Americans and illegals. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court and DOJ could end race-based gerrymandering for Congressional districts.

All in all, the moves could erase dozens of Democratic seats in the House of Representatives, both by reapportioning seats away from the primarily Democratic places with more illegal aliens and by ridding America of the sort of Democratic districts that the DOJ has said are examples of race-based gerrymandering.

So, Democrats have been freaking out and going on the warpath against the moves. Particularly, Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY), appeared on MSNBC’s “The Weeknight” on Thursday, August 7, and went berserk over what she called a “legal insurrection” via redistricting in America.

Commenting on the matter, Hochul ignored Democrat efforts at gerrymandering to exclude Republicans and claimed that really it is they who are gerrymandering to keep Democrats out of power. She said, “History will judge us how we respond in this moment, because if we allow the Republicans to get away with what they’re attempting to do, this legal insurrection of our U.S. Capitol, then we’ll have a generation of redistricted gerrymandered seats that are skewed against Democrats.”

Continuing, Gov. Hochul gave her own tale of dealing with redistricting and Republican districts, saying, “And when will we ever get the balance of power, at least in Washington? I served in Congress when the Republicans were in the majority in the House of Representatives. I lost that seat in the most Republican district in New York. I won that seat. At first, I lost it with redistricting. But guess what? I only lost by one and a half points. But I refused to repeal the Affordable Care Act. So I know Republican districts very well, and they will stand up and fight back.”

Adding to that, the governor alleged that Republicans are stripping Americans of healthcare, ignoring that the real changes made are work requirements for able-bodied people enrolled in welfare programs, which many Americans find quite reasonable. She said, “Right now, Republicans and Republican districts are sick and tired of what’s happening to them. Talk to the farmers and Elise Stefanik district in the North Country, talk to people in Mike Lawler’s district in the Hudson Valley. People are going to be losing health care, child care.

She then ignored the many benefits to America of Trump’s pro-American industry tariffs and said, “Talk to a mom or dad anywhere in America and how are you doing? Getting ready to buy back-to-school clothes and backpacks and sneakers when the sneakers you could have bought for $42 have gone up to $72, that’s just in three months.”

Concluding, she declared that the work requirements for welfare and job-creating economic nationalism will “wipe out” Americans, saying, “That’s what tariffs are doing, and it’s starting already. So they’re going to be wiped out. They know they’re going to be wiped out in the elections next year.”
