In a recently resurfaced video made yet more relevant by recent Epstein file revelations surrounding the men involved, President Trump highlighted Bill Clinton’s 28 flights with Jeffrey Epstein and Larry Summers’ close ties to the billionaire, saying, in comments given during the summer of 2025, “You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton… I never went to the island.”
Speaking later, Trump noted he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago years earlier for being a “sick pervert,” and stressed that both Summers and Clinton were frequent Epstein associates. Ultimately, after facing backlash over released emails, Summers announced he was “deeply ashamed” and resigned.
In any case, Trump began his comments by pointing out the deep connections between Larry Summers, the Clintons, and Jeffrey Epstein. “You ought to be speaking about Larry Summers. You ought to be speaking about some of his friends that are hedge fund guys. They’re all over the place.”
Continuing his incisive comments about one of Epstein’s most notorious associates, President Trump pivoted to the creepy former president. “You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island. I don’t even know what they’re talking about,” the president noted.
Swatting aside allegations about his own behavior from the Democrat media, President Trump said, “Now, somebody could have written a letter and used my name, but that’s happened a lot. All you have to do is take a look at the dossier, the fake dossier. Everything’s fake with that administration, everything’s fake with the Democrats.”
Concluding his remarks with a confident flourish, Trump left the press reeling. “Take a look at what they just found about the dossier. Everything is fake. They’re a bunch of sick people. Where did you see the people laying outside right across from,” he said.

As we reported at the American Tribune, this is far from the first time Trump has tied the DNC to the controversial financier. Responding to a question from reporters, he noted, “I threw [Epstein] out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert.”
Following on with his signature wit, Trump continued, “But I guess I turned out to be right. But you know, who does have Bill Clinton? Larry Summers, who ran Harvard, was with him every single night, every single weekend.”
Continuing his epic diatribe, Trump declared, “They lived together. They went to his island many times I never did. Andrew Weisman are here. All these guys were friends of his. You don’t even talk about those people. You just keep going on the Epstein files. And what the Epstein is is a Democrat hoax to try and get me not to be able to talk about the $21 trillion that I talked about today.”
Apparently, Summers has been feeling the heat. The Former Harvard President has gone on leave as director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center and will not teach next semester, following the House Oversight Committee’s release of emails between Summers and Epstein.
Reacting to the salacious emails, he said, “I am deeply ashamed of my actions and recognize the pain they have caused. I take full responsibility for my misguided decision to continue communicating with Mr. Epstein. While continuing to fulfill my teaching obligations, I will be stepping back from public commitments as one part of my broader effort to rebuild trust and repair relationships with the people closest to me.”
