A pair of resurfaced videos is going viral across social media platforms, exposing how Democrats such as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have lied through their teeth about covering up the vile sexual crimes of disgraced Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ). Pelosi stated that she had “no idea whatsoever” about Swalwell’s indiscretions while making an appearance at the American Public Transportation Association’s legislative conference.
Pelosi, 86, was confronted about whether she and other Democrats have turned a “blind eye” to the sexual misconduct allegations against Swalwell, who just recently suspended his gubernatorial campaign and has announced he will be resigning from Congress. “No. That’s not true,” Pelosi said during the conference. “That is absolutely positive — and it is true that they may say that, but it is absolutely not true.”
When the California Democrat was asked if she had any clue at all about the accusations against Swalwell on a personal level, she once again denied having any knowledge. “None whatsoever. None whatsoever. I had none whatsoever,” Pelosi said. The former speaker of the House said that Swalwell’s resignation was “the right thing to do.”
“Not to subject members to have to take a vote on something like that, and not to subject your family… If you have a challenge that you have to address, it’s best addressed not as a candidate for governor and not as a member of Congress,” she continued, according to Breitbart News. Swalwell announced on April 12, 2026, that he would be suspending his campaign. The following day he revealed his plan to resign from Congress.

“I am aware of efforts to bring an immediate expulsion vote against me and other members. Expelling anyone in Congress without due process, within days of an allegation being made, is wrong. But it’s also wrong for my constituents to have me distracted from my duties,” he went on to say in a statement. “Therefore, I plan to resign my seat in Congress.
“I will work with my staff in the coming days to ensure they are able, in my absence, to serve the needs of the good people of the 14th congressional district,” the Democratic congressman concluded. Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna issued a warning that if Swalwell didn’t resign by 2 p.m., she would move forward with a resolution regarding his expulsion, due to a lack of details in his statement.

Senior Advisor for the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Kari Lake is featured in a second video calling out Sen. Gallego for his sexual misconduct with female staffers. The video features statements made in August 2024. According to a post that shared the video on X, Gallego fired a 20-year-old staffer after she filed a complaint against him.
Gallego was also called “The Troll” by colleagues while he served in the Arizona House of Representatives due to how “creepy and degrading he was toward women.” It’s also known that he abandoned his first wife while she was nine months pregnant with his child so he could have a sexual encounter with a lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
