WATCH: Reporter Hits Trump with Snarky Question, Gets Immediately Shut Down

President Donald Trump recently faced a hostile question from a reporter during a recent press conference on Air Force One.  The question came from a White House Correspondent for the HuffPost, S.V. Date, who asked the President if he had any remorse for “all of the lying” he had done to the American people throughout his time in Politics.

The reporter initially asked Trump, “Mr. President, do you regret all of the lying you have done for the American people?”  Trump responded, “All the what?” Date asked again, “All the lying, all the dishonesties.”  Unamused with the Snide question, Trump asked, “And who is that?”  Trump then refused to continue acknowledging Date, moving on to another question.

President Donald Trump is no stranger to hostility from the press, having continually endured attacks from the mainstream media over the years. The American Tribune reported on another relatively recent incident during a press conference in which Trump flipped the script on a pressing question from a reporter in early January.

Prior to Trump’s sweeping pardons for all January 6 defendants, there was speculation among Democrats as to whether Trump would extend the immunity on a case-by-case basis.  One reporter noted that “police officers were injured by rioters on January 6” asking, “Will you pardon anyone who attacked a police officer?”

Trump responded, “Well, you know, the only one that was killed was a beautiful young lady and Ashley Babbitt, she was killed.” He added, “And there was actually somebody else that was killed, also a MAGA person.” Trump emphasized that these two deaths are seemingly left out of the narrative when January 6 is discussed. “But people don’t give it 100% credibility.”

Honing in on the death of Ashli Babbitt, he continued, “I’m going to find out about it, and we’re going to find out. But Ashley Babbitt was killed. She was shot. She had never been shot. She was shot for no reason whatsoever. In fact, they say that she was trying to hold back the crowd, and the crowd is made up of a lot of different people, so we’ll see.”

“But I will tell you this, the person that was was killed was Ashli Babbittt,” Trump emphasized, defending his supporters. Furthermore, Trump pointed out that there were never insurrection charges in the first place while noting no weapons involved. “But the other thing is, when they talk, you know, there was never charges of insurrection or anything like that. But if there were, this would be the only insurrection in history where people went in as insurrectionists with not one gun.”

Trump added, “And let me tell you, the people that you’re talking about have a lot of guns in their home for hunting and for shooting and for entertainment, and a lot of good reasons, but there wasn’t one gun that they found.” Calling out the FBI, Trump then said, “And why didn’t they find the bomber, the pipe bomber? You know, they know who the pipe bomber is. The FBI knows who it is. The status of the FBI has gone down so far.”
