WATCH: Report Reveals How Obama-Era FBI and DOJ Illegally Covered for, Protected Hillary Clinton

In a recently unearthed segment from Fox News, Brett Baier revealed how the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) protected Hillary Clinton from the consequences of her allegedly illegal actions. Baier’s remarks are over a year old, but bear shocking similarities to a recent bombshell dropped by Federal Bureau of Investigation Head Kash Patel.

As background, the FBI has faced ongoing political controversy, particularly during Donald Trump’s first term. Former FBI Director James Comey mishandled the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and, after his dismissal, portrayed Trump as an authoritarian leader lacking accountability.

Such was shown when conservative super-star Charlie Kirk took to X on June 1 to repost the impactful segment. He said, “🚨 The FBI and the DOJ were ordered by Barack Obama not to arrest Hillary Clinton for espionage in violation of — 18 U.S. Code § 793. In fact, Barack Obama effectively served as Hillary Clinton’s personal lawyer,” adding, “CIA John Ratcliffe: ‘Lisa Page confirmed to me under oath that the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information.'”

Providing vital context, one of the FNC reporters said, “During closed-door testimony last summer, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page said the Obama administration’s Justice Department advised the FBI not to pursue the gross negligence statute for Hillary Clinton in the mishandling of classified information.”

Leaning on government insiders the reporter stated, “Former US attorney and House Republican John Radcliffe led the line of questioning about the statute known as 18 USC, 793 Radcliffe, ‘You’re making it sound like it was the department that told you you’re not going to charge gross negligence, because we’re the prosecutors…’ Page interrupted. ‘That is correct.’ Page’s testimony appears to conflict with then-FBI Director James Comey’s recommendation in July 2016 against criminal charges for Clinton.”

Echoing these sentiments, in a May 18th interview, Kash Patel explained to FNC host Maria Bartiromo, “how the FBI was weaponized.” Responding, he said, “Well, the FBI hijacked the constitutional responsibility of the Department of Justice and the Attorney General, and James Comey and others specifically decided what cases to prosecute and not prosecute. Don’t believe me? Go to the videotape in the Hillary Clinton investigation.”

Building his case, he said, “We don’t decide prosecutions, and neither does any agent or intel analyst. We have great partners under Attorney General [Pam] Bondi. We work with them and discuss the matter with them, but the prosecutorial decision is with them.”

Continuing the explanation, Patel mentioned the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia. The FBI director explained, “That’s how vindictive and vicious the former leadership structure here was. Not only did they bastardize the FISA process and lie to the American public, they withheld and hid documentation and put it in rooms where people weren’t supposed to look.”

    Watch the Earth-shaking segment here:

Concluding his remarks, Patel vowed, “It’s a good thing we’re here now to clean it up, and you’re about to see a wave of transparency… Just give us about a week or two. They said the FBI was the most storied institution for law enforcement, and it was, and it will be again very soon.”
