Conservative influencer Kaitlin Bennett attended a No Kings rally where she ran into a liberal protester who was decked to the nines for the occasion. Seeing a perfect opportunity to reveal the true depth of left-wing ignorance, Bennett wasted no time in conducting a “man on the street” style interview with the man. The protester, an older gentleman, rocked orange dyed hair, a crown, and orange face paint, clearly a dig at President Donald Trump.
Bennett opened the interview by asking the man why he was dressed the way he was. “Tell us about why you’re wearing this and what inspired it?” Wasting no time, the man revealed he was dressed in the bizarre costume “because I am very anti-Trump” before adding that he’s “for democracy in America.” He then told Bennett that he “doesn’t want kings” and “doesn’t want a dictatorship.”
He continued his ramble, saying, “So I’m here to support America and the people that need the help that we’re not getting sometimes.” Bennett followed up by asking the anti-Trump protester what king-like behavior President Trump has exhibited that has left him feeling as if his freedom has been threatened. The man responded, “He’s doing king-like behavior by having a military parade. The National Guard going out.”
He then accused the president of not adhering to the law of the land, saying, “Not following the Constitution. Couple of things.” Bennett then pointed out that the No Kings demonstration was being held on President Trump’s birthday, going on to ask the protester if he had a birthday message for him. “I hope I see your obituary in the paper tomorrow,” the man said. “That would be a message. Yeah.”
“So you hope that this is his last birthday?” Bennett asked, clearly trying to get the man to admit that he just wished for President Trump’s death. “Well, I don’t want him dead, just not in office anymore.” Bennett was not about to let him slide so easily, pointing out that “obituary would mean dead.” Trying to backpedal he replied, “I know. I was being sarcastic. I would just like him out of office.”
If something should happen to the president while he’s in office, Vice President JD Vance is the next in line to take over the Oval Office, a point that Kaitlin Bennett immediately brought up by asking the protester, “Would you like JD Vance to be the next president?” As you probably already guessed, he answered in the negative.
Bennett asked him, “Who would you like to be the president?” The protester said, “Kamala Harris right now, but she didn’t win.” The seasoned influencer then got a bit more aggressive with the guy, saying, “Can I point out something? That we say no kings and no authoritarianism but Kamala Harris, no one voted for her.” She was making a reference to the fact that Harris was essentially gifted the Democratic nomination without an election.

“Yes they did. Half the country voted for her, so let’s not go there,” the man fired back, clearly not understanding what Bennett was getting at. She then further clarified herself, saying, “No one voted for her to be the nominee.” The man, showing his lack of knowledge concerning how Harris was selected to take former President Joe Biden’s place as the nominee, repeated, “Yes, they did.”
When Bennett attempted to point out that not allowing people to select the nominee and having the party choose for them was a form of authoritarianism, which is what the No Kings movement claims to oppose, the man got up in her face and said, “You’re going down the wrong road right now with me. I wouldn’t go any further.” Bennett asked the man what he meant by that comment.
“It means I’m not going to talk to you anymore. That’s what it means,” he replied, clearly getting angrier. Bennett then pointed out the irony of the protesters demonstrating against kings and yet Kamala Harris wasn’t voted for, but selected, just like a king. This only further served to agitate the man further. He then ended the interview by saying, “Keep it to yourself. Bye. Have a good day.”
