WATCH: Purple-Haired Democrat Has Full-Blown Temper Tantrum after AG Blanche Catches Her in a Lie and Calls Her Out

Things got entertaining in Congress on Tuesday, June 3, during a House of Representatives hearing in which Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) clashed quite strongly with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on the legal work he has done in the past for President Donald Trump, with the representative accusing him and Trump of corruption for working together when the president was facing awful lawfare attacks.

At issue in the hearing was that Acting AG Blanche, who President Trump has nominated to be the full Attorney General now that Pam Bondi is gone and he has done a fantastic job as her replacement, was in part paid by the Save America Political Action Committee (PAC) when he served as President Trump’s personal defense attorney. For whatever reason, she lost her mind over that.

Beginning her angry tirade of a question, the purple-haired Democrat, known for her radical views, snapped, “I just want to say this, the Save America PAC you paid you nearly $10 million between March of 2024 and December of 2024 to serve as President Trump’s personal defense attorney.”

Continuing, DeLauro insisted that there has to be a conflict of interest present in that history of his having worked for the president and been paid for it, though she didn’t explain why. She said, “My God, don’t you find there’s any conflict of interest in what you are doing here as the Acting Attorney General of the United States.”

Acting AG Blanche fired back by noting that he didn’t see the conflict at all, as there isn’t one. Instead, he simply had a job then and has one now. He said, “I didn’t — what are you saying is the conflict? I don’t understand what you’re saying. Listen, the fact that I used to have a job and I have a current job—”

That sense the purple-haired Democrat spiralling in a meltdown over the settlement agreement that President Trump struck with the IRS to reimburse victims of federal lawfare. She said, clutching her pearls and whining, “You’ve taken one piece, and you said, okay, we have had a ton of backlash on this $1.8 billion slush fund. However, so we’ll not move on that.”

She then angrily insisted, snapping about the deal struck with the IRS as part of the settlement agreement, one provoked by the IRS’s bad behavior, “But as part of the settlement, which you’ve said, which is this immunity for the president and his family and his business, et cetera. That stands.”

Blanche called her out for lying, but tried to be polite about it, saying, “It’s not immunity, ma’am, it’s a promise—” The woke, rogue, and radical representative cut him off anyway and angrily insisted that her fabrication was the truth, snapping, “Thank you, it’s immunity.”

The Acting AG wasn’t letting her get away with that lie, however. “It’s not immunity,” Blanche maintained. He added, “ny time the IRS settles with an individual taxpayer or another company as part of the settlement, it’s standard, it’s typical to get rid of past ongoing audits. It’s not a forward-looking document.”
