WATCH: Purple Haired Congresswoman Has Screaming Meltdown in Congress Screeching at RFK Jr

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) was instantly fact-checked by conservatives reacting to her woke rant blaming Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the Flint, Michigan water crisis. In her over-the-top rant, DeLauro incorrectly stated that over 9 million children were the victims of lead poisoning in the city, when the whole state has less than 10 million citizens total.

For context, Rep. Rosa DeLauro is a long-serving Democratic Congresswoman from Connecticut who is infamous for her hardcore progressive activism since 1991 and distinctive purple hair. She has a leading role on the House Appropriations Committee and has played a critical role in opposing President Trump.

Such was shown when Rep. DeLauro went on a disgraceful rant in which she bizarrely blamed RKF for this crisis. She stated, “Is there a special phone number if I want to say tobacco prevention, lead poisoning. Nine million children were lead poisoned in Flint, Michigan. Nine million kids okay?”

Reacting to the Democrats’ incorrect claim, a user posted the video of her screed to X on May 14, 2025. In the caption, the account added, “FACT CHECK: Dem Rep. Rosa DeLauro tried using fake news to hit RFK Jr. during a fiery Hill hearing — falsely claiming 9 million kids were poisoned in Flint. One problem, though? The city’s population is only 100,000.”

Annoyed by the woke Democrats’ crazy claims, users expressed their annoyance in the comments. One such comment read, “Can’t even create reasonable lies. Dems just did what Pelosi and Schumer told them to losing whatever edge they once had.” A user pointed out another flaw in her argument: “9 million is the population of Michigan after the 1million (sic) fled from Whitmer’s policies.”

Objecting to the premise of her statement, one user noted, “And how the f**k is flint drinking water RFKs fault. He just got in charge. This has been a problem for years. Fuck these a**hole democrats. They make a problem and then blame republicans. Dems have controlled that area for the last 50 years. GFY weirdo.” Building on this point, another comment read, “No The Democratic leaders in Flint were given 170 million to fix the lead in the water in Flint. The question should be where did all the money go? Why isn’t it fixed? So, another Democratic liar. Let’s audit them.”

Annoyed by her blatant hypocrisy, one of DeLauro’s constituents said, “I have to say as a Connecticut resident I’m proud of Connecticut people for voting these people in over and over again. Actually, I’m appalled and embarrassed to live in the state of Connecticut with this. Wake up Connecticut.”

Poking another hole in her argument, one comment asked why she turned a blind eye to immigration. The conservative asked, “@rosadelauro where were you when Biden let in all this Illegal aliens who were sick with diseases? How can you take an old woman seriously who lies? Who protected Biden for 4 yrs. The Democrats again prove they hate Americans.”

Watch the purple-haired congresswoman melt down here:

Rounding out the comments, conservatives expressed their anger at her unprofessional behavior. One such comment read, “How do these uneducated, incompetent people get elected to congress? Voters need to be well informed before they cast their votes.”
