In a recently unearthed video, over two dozen protestors engaged in a theatrical demonstration, where they staged a threatening mock funeral at Republican Representative Bryan Steil’s Wisconsin home, leaving a cardboard coffin labeled “Death of Democracy” behind. The theatrical protest, organized by the Southern Wisconsin Grassroots Network and Working Families Party, involved trespassing on Steil’s property.
For context, Steil slammed the melodramatic protest and condemned this tactic as threatening. In reaction, a Working Families Power spokesperson repeated tired woke talking points and criticized him for supposedly endangering healthcare for 17 million people.
In any case, one of the unhinged demonstrators took to Facebook Live before the “Death of Democracy” funeral procession. The organizer said, “We’re not going to hang out here because we’re not going to invite the police to come and ask questions, and say, ‘What are you doing here, blah, blah, blah.’ We’re just going to get out of town.”
Apparently, the faux coffin bore a message to the congresswoman which read, “Here lie the hopes of the most vulnerable killed by the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ signed into law by President Donald J. Trump and endorsed by lyin’ Bryan Steil. RIP democracy 1776-2025.”
Similarly, Ravi Mangla, National Press Secretary for Working Families Power, defended the bizarre protest. She said, “17 million Americans are going to lose life-saving medical care because of Bryan Steil’s vote. Frankly, that’s a far scarier thing than a group of seniors holding some taped-together cardboard.”
However, Rep. Bryan Steil unequivocally condemned the protest. He told Fox News Digital, “It’s disappointing that Democrat leadership and the radical left resort to these type of tactics. I remain committed to my work to get this country back on track and will not be deterred by their threats.”
Apparently, the far left group has decided to keep harassing the courageous Wisconsin republican. According to a protest’s description from earlier this year, “Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Republican members of Congress like Bryan Steil have launched an all-out assault on working Americans.”

Repealting tired woke boilerplate, the progerssive advocacy group claimed, “They’re slashing funding to Medicare and other programs we rely on so they can cut taxes for themselves and their billionaire friends,” adding, “Join us outside Rep. Steil’s in-district office during scheduled office hours in St Francis on Wednesday, February 19th at 2:00 pm to tell him to stop the cuts.”
Despite continual hysterical protest from the left, Trump was able to pass his Big Beautiful Bill. Instead of defunding vital programs, the new budget has slashed taxes, increased funding to necessary law enforcement, and gone after fraud.
